Automatic program selection
“RPT”:
The repeat feature automatically
replays the current program.
Touch “RPT” on the screen while the pro-
gram is playing. When the program ends,
it will automatically be rewound and re-
played. Touch this button again to turn off
the repeat feature.
There must be at least 3 seconds of blank
space between programs for the repeat
feature to work correctly.
“SKIP”: The skip feature allows you to fast
forward past long stretches of blank tape.
This is especially useful at the end of cas-
settes.
Touch “SKIP” on the screen. The player
will automatically skip any blank portions
of 15 seconds or more and play the next
program. To cancel it, touch the button
once again.
“Automatic program selection” button:
The automatic program selection feature
allows you to program your cassette play-
er to skip forward or backward to locate the
song you want to hear. You can skip up to
9 programs at a time.
Push this button on the “
”side to skip
forward. “FF” and the number will appear
on the screen. Push the button until the
number you want to skip appears on the
screen. After that, the player will automati-
cally skip forward.
When the end of the tape is reached, the
player automatically reverses sides and
resumes normal play.
Push this button on the “
”side to skip
backward. Push the button until “REW”
and the number you want to skip appear on
the screen.
DIf you set “REW 1”, the player will re-
wind to the beginning of the current
program.
DWhen counting the number of pro-
grams you want to rewind, remember
to count the current program as well.
For example, if you want to rewind to a
song that is two before the song you
are listening to, push this button until
“REW 3” appears on the screen.
When the beginning of the tape is reached,
the player automatically resumes normal
play.

selection” features:These features may
not work well with some spoken word, live
or classical recordings. The DVD changer can play audio CDs,
video CDs, CD text, WMA discs, MP3
discs, DVD video discs and DVD audio
discs.

For safety reasons, you can enjoy DVD
video discs, DVD audio discs and video
CDs only when the vehicle is completely
stopped with the ignition switch is in the
“ACC” or “ON” position and the parking
brake applied. While you are driving, you
can hear audio alone even in the DVD vid-
eo, DVD audio or video CD mode.

(a) Inserting or ejecting discs
The engine switch must be in the “ACC” or
“ON” position.
Your DVD changer can store up to 6 discs.
DSetting a single disc:
1. Push the “LOAD” button briefly.
The amber indicators at both ends of the
slot start blinking. After the amber indica-
tors change to green and stay on, the DVD
changer door will open.
2. Insert only one disc while the DVD
changer door is open.
You can set a disc at the lowest empty disc
number.
After insertion, the set disc is automatically
loaded.
If the label faces down, the disc cannot be
played. In this case, “DISC×Check” ap-
pears on the screen.
If you do not insert the disc within 15 sec-
onds after pushing the “LOAD”button, the
beep will sound and the operation will be
canceled automatically.
If you need to insert the next disc, repeat
the same procedure to insert another disc.

Setting all the discs:
1. Push the “LOAD” button until you
hear a beep.
The amber indicators at both ends of the
slot start blinking. After the amber indica-
tors change to green and stay on, the DVD
changer door will open.
2. Insert only one disc while the DVD
changer door is open.
The DVD changer door closes and the am-
ber indicators start blinking.
3. Insert the next disc after the amber
indicators change to green and stay on
and the DVD changer door opens.
4. Repeat this procedure until you in-
sert all the discs.
To cancel the operation, push the
“LOAD”
or “DISC·AUX” button.
If you do not insert the discs within 15 sec-
onds after pushing the “LOAD”button, the
beep will sound and the operation will be
canceled automatically.
NOTICE
Do not insert one disc stacked on top
of another one or feed them in contin-
uously, to prevent discs from getting
stuck in the changer.

Ejecting a single alone:
1. Push the “”or“” button of
“CH·DISC” or touch the disc number
button on the screen to highlight the
disc number you want to eject.
2. Push thebutton for the disc
briefly.
At this time, the amber indicators of the slot
start blinking and the disc is ejected.
3. After the blinking indicators stay on,
remove the disc.
DEjecting all the discs:
1. Push thebutton for the disc un-
til you hear a beep.
At this time, the amber indicators of the slot
start blinking and a disc is ejected.
2. After the blinking indicators stay on,
remove the disc.
The indicators start blinking again and the
next disc is ejected.
To cancel the operation, push the “LOAD”
or “DISC·AUX” button.
If you do not remove the disc within 15 sec-
onds after it is ejected, the beep will sound
and the operation will be canceled auto-
matically.
When all the discs are removed, the indi-
cators go out.
The numbers of the trays where the disc is
not set are dimmed.

(b) Playing a disc
Push the“DISC·AUX” button if the disc
are already loaded in the DVD changer.
The “DVD CHANGER” screen will be dis-
played.
The discs set in the DVD changer are
played continuously, starting with the last
disc you inserted. The disc number of the
disc currently being played, the track or
title and chapter number and the time from
the beginning of the program are shown on
the display.
Audio disc and MP3/WMA disc only —
When play of one disc ends, the first track
of the following disc starts. When play of
the final disc ends, play of the first disc
starts again.
The changer will skip any empty disc trays.
Vehicles with rear entertainment
system —
If the DVD player is turned on, push the
“DISC·AUX” button again to switch to the
changer.
If the rear seat entertainment system is on,
pushing the “DISC·AUX” button switches
the sound of the front audio system and
that of the rear seat entertainment system. (c) Selecting a desired disc
On the screen:
Touch the desired disc number.
The selected disc number is highlighted.
The changer will start playing the selected
disc from the first track.
On the audio panel:
Push the “
”or“” button of
“CH·DISC”.
When you release the button, the changer
will start playing the selected disc from the
first track.

DPlaying an audio CD
Push the “AUDIO” button to display
this screen.
CD text only — The disc title and track title
will appear on the screen when pushing
the“DISC·AUX” button.
You can operate the touch −screen buttons
and choose the number of the disc you
want to play. The selected disc is automat-
ically played.
DSelecting a desired track
“SEEK·TRACK” button: Use for a direct
access to a desired track.
Push the “
”or “”button of
“SEEK·TRACK” and repeat it until the de-
sired track number appears on the screen.
As you release the button, the changer will
start playing the selected track from the
beginning.
“TRACK LIST”: The desired track can be
selected from a list. This function is avail-
able only when the vehicle is not moving.
Touch “TRACK LIST” . The track list is
displayed.

Touch the desired track number. The
changer will start playing the selected
track from the beginning.
:By touching this button, the list moves
up by 6 track groups. If this button is
touched when the top page of the list is dis-
played, the last page is displayed.
: By touching this button, the list moves
down by 6 track groups. If this button is
touched when the last page of the list is
displayed, the top page is displayed.
Fast forward: Push the“
”button of
“SEEK·TRACK” and hold it to fast for-
ward the disc. When you release the but-
ton, the changer will resume playing from
that position.
Reverse: Push the “
”button of
“SEEK·TRACK” and hold it to reverse the
disc. When you release the button, the
changer will resume playing.
Vehicles with rear entertainment
system —
While the DVD player is in operation, the
chapter or track can be changed by push-
ing either side of the “SEEK·TRACK”but-
ton.
DSearching for a desired track or a
disc
Searching for a desired track —
While the disc is playing, touch
“SCAN” on the screen or push the
“SCAN” button briefly.
“SCAN” appears on the screen. The
changer will play the next track for 10 sec-
onds, then scan again. To select a track,
touch “SCAN” or push the “SCAN”but-
ton once again. If the changer reaches the
end of the disc, it will continue scanning at
track 1.
After all the tracks are scanned in one
pass, normal play resumes.
Searching for a desired disc —
While the disc is playing, touch
“SCAN” on the screen or push the
“SCAN” button and hold it until the
“D·SCAN” appears on the screen.
The program at the beginning of each au-
dio disc will be played for 10 seconds. To
continue listening to the program of your
choice, touch “SCAN”or push the
“SCAN” button once again.
After all the audio discs are scanned in one
pass, normal play resumes.

Other functions
“RPT”:
Use it for automatic repeat of the
track or disc you are currently listening to.
Repeating a track —
While the track is playing, touch “RPT”
briefly.
“RPT” appears on the screen. When the
track is finished, the changer will automati-
cally go back to the beginning of the track
and play the track again. To cancel it,
touch “RPT” once again.
Repeating a disc —
While the disc is playing, touch “RPT”
and hold it until the “D·RPT” appears on
the screen.
When the disc is finished, the changer will
automatically go back to the beginning of
the disc and play the disc again. To cancel
it, touch “RPT”once again. “RAND”:
Use it for automatic and random
selection.
Playing the tracks on one disc in ran-
dom order —
While the disc is playing, touch
“RAND” briefly.
“RAND” appears on the screen. The sys-
tem selects a track on the disc being lis-
tened to in random order. To cancel it,
touch “RAND” once again.
Playing the tracks on all the audio discs
in random order —
While the disc is playing, touch
“RAND” and hold it until the “D·RAND”
appears on the screen.
The system selects a track on all the audio
discs in the changer in random order. To
cancel it, touch “RAND”once again.
If a CD− TEXT disc is inserted, the title of
the disc and track will be displayed. Up to
29 letters can be displayed.

(e) Operating a MP3/WMA disc
DPlaying a MP3/WMA disc
Push the “AUDIO” button and touch a
MP3/WMA disc number to display this
screen.
You can operate the touch−screen buttons
and choose the number of the disc you
want to play. The selected disc is automat-
ically played.
DSelecting a desired folder
“FOLDER Y”: Touch “FOLDER Y”togo
to the next folder.
“FOLDER B”: Touch “FOLDER B” briefly
to go to the previous folder. To jump up to
the first folder, touch “FOLDER B” and
hold it until the beep sounds.
“FOLDER LIST”: The desired folder can
be selected in a list. This function is avail-
able only when the vehicle is not moving.
Touch “FOLDER LIST” . The folder list is
displayed.
