Respond and operate the
Bluetooth® device according to the
confirmation message.
8 Check that the following screen is
displayed, indicating pairing was
successful.
 The system is connecting to the reg-
istered device.
 At this stage, the Bluetooth® func-
tions are not yet available.
9 Check that “Connected” is dis-
played and registration is complete.
 If an error message is displayed, fol-
low the guidance on the screen to
try again.
●If a cellular phone does not operate prop-
erly after being connected, turn the cellu- lar phone off and on and then connect it again.
■Registering from phone
When registering from the navigation
system is failed, or the phone name
doesn’t appear on the registering
screen, you need to connect the
Bluetooth® phone manually.
1 Press the “MENU” button on the
Remote Touch.
2 Select “Setup”.
3 Select “Bluetooth*” on the sub
menu.

4 Select “Yes” to register the new
phone.
5 Press the button on the Remote
Touch to select “If you cannot find…”

■Adding a Wi-Fi® network
Available networks which are not dis-
played by searching can be added.
1 Press the button on the Remote
Touch.
2 Select “Add Wi-Fi* network”.
3 Enter the network name and select
“OK”.
4 Select the security type.
5 Enter the password and select
“OK”.

If a Wi-Fi® device is Wi-Fi Protected
Setup™ compatible, it can be con-
nected to more quickly.

diac pacemakers, cardiac resynchro- nization therapy-pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators
should maintain a reasonable distance
between themselves and the Wi-Fi®
antennas. The radio waves may affect the opera-tion of such devices.
●Before using Wi-Fi® devices, users of
any electrical medical device other than implantable cardiac pacemakers, cardiac resynchronization therapy-
pacemakers or implantable cardio- verter defibrillators should consult the manufacturer of the device for infor-

The security system can be set to on by
entering a security code (4-digit num-
ber).
When set to on, the system will
become inoperative once the electri-
cal power source is disconnected until
the security code is entered.

4 Select “Valet mode”.
5 Enter the 4-digit personal code and
select “OK”.
6 Enter the same 4-digit personal
code again and select “OK”.
 The system will request that you
input the security code again to
confirm that you remember it cor-
rectly.
7 When valet mode activates, the
system stops and a security code
(4-digit number) standby screen is
displayed.
