If you believe that your vehicle has adefect which could cause a crash orcould cause injury or death, you shouldimmediately inform the NationalHighway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA) in addition to notifying FordMotor Company.
If NHTSA receives similar complaints, itmay open an investigation, and if it findsthat a safety defect exists in a group ofvehicles, it may order a recall and
remedy campaign. However, NHTSAcannot become involved in individualproblems between you, your dealer, orFord Motor Company.

Power Distribution Box
WARNING: Always disconnect thebattery before servicing high current fuses.
WARNING: To reduce risk ofelectrical shock, always replace the coverto the power distribution box beforereconnecting the battery or refilling fluidreservoirs.
The power distribution box is in the enginecompartment. It has high-current fuses thatprotect your vehicle’s main electrical systemsfrom overloads.
Some features need to be reset when youor someone else disconnects and reconnectsthe battery. See Changing the 12V Battery(page 371).
