Some systems will performa self-test whentheignition is switched on. Somewarning and indi‐cator lamps may brieflylight up orflash. Thisbehavior is non-critical. Thesewarning and indi‐cator lamps indicate a malfunction only ifthey
light up orflash afterthe engine has beenstar‐ted or during a journey.

Possible causes are:
RThe brakeforce boosting is malfunctioning andthe brakingcharacteristics may be affected.
RThereis not enough brakefluid inthe brakefluidreservoir.
\nWARNINGRisk of accident and injuryif brakeforce boosting is malfunctioning
If brakeforce boosting is malfunctioning, increased brake pedalforce may be necessaryfor braking. The brakingcharacteristics may be impaired. The braking distance can increase in emergency braking situations.
Stop in a safe location immediately. Do not continue driving.
