Notes on GPSreceptionThe correct function ofthe navigation systemdepends amongstotherthings on GPSrecep‐tion. In certain situations GPSreception can beimpaired, defective oreven not possible, e.g. intunnels or in parkinggarages.

There arethree phases whenchanging direction:

Ifthere is enough time betweenthechangesof direction,the multimedia system preparesyouforthe upcomingchange of direction. Anavigation announcement is issued, e.g."Preparetoturnright".
