information in the digital navigation map. It assists

In some countries, the system can pr ovide you

Tr a1c Sign Assist also uses data from the digital
street map in the navigation system. When you
lea veor enter a municipality or change roads, on
a mo torw ay ex it or slip road fore xamp le, or aTer
yo u turn at a junction, the display in the driver's
display can thus be updated without a tra1c sign
having been de tected.
Depending on vehicle equipment and countr y,the
system can also display speed restrictions ahead
in the driver's display and in the head-up displa y.
The driver's display can also sh owthe distance to
an upcoming lo wer limit speed. Forth is purpose,
information from the digital road map of the navi-
ga tion system is used. The Assistancemenu can also display a dynamic visualisation of
the speed
limits ahead.

If a vehicle is de tected in thewa rning range and
yo u switch on the turn signal indicator in the cor-
re sponding direction, a double warning tone
sounds once, and thewa rning lamp 0ashes red in
th e cor responding outside mir ror.Re dra dar wav

If th e turn signal indicator remains on, the display
in the outside mirror 0ashes for all other de tected

R ifve hicles are not driving in the middle of their
lane
Wa rnings may be issued in er ror when driving
close tocrash bar riers or similar continuous lane
borders. Alw ays make sure that there is su1cient
distance tothe side forot her tra1c or obs tacles.
Wa rnings may be inter rupted when driving along-
side long vehicles, forex ample lor ries, for a pro-
longed time.
Blind Spot Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist are
not operational when reve rsege ar is engaged. Blind Sp
otAssist and Active Blind Spot Assist are
not operational if transport equipment, forex am-
ple a trailer or bicycle rack , is attached tothe
trailer hitch and the electrical connection has
been cor rectly es tablished.
