If se ve ra l consecutive kicking mo ve ments are
not successful, wa it te n seconds.
Sy st em limitations
The sy st em may be impaired or may not function
if: R
Snow or dirt, e.g. from ro ad salt, co ve rs th e
sensor area. R
The kicking mo ve ment is made using a pros‐
th et ic leg. The trunk lid could be opened or closed unin te n‐
tional ly , in th e fo llowing situations: R
If a person's arms or legs are moving in th e
sensor de te ction ra nge, e.g. when polishing
th e ve hicle, sitting on th e edge of th e trunk,
or picking up objects. R
If objects are mo ve d or placed behind th e
ve hicle, e.g. ch arging cables, te nsioning
st ra ps or luggage. R
When wo rk ing on th e trailer coupling, trailers
or re ar bicycle ra ck s.
