calling up a driver pro/le
Selecting a user pro/le may trigger an adjust-
ment of the driver's seat tothe position sa ved under
the user pro/le. You or other vehicle
occupants could be injured in the process. #
Make sure that when the position of the
driver's seat is being adjus ted via the
multimedia system, no people or body
parts are in the seat's range of mo ve-
ment.
If th ere is a risk of someone becoming trap-
ped, stop the adjustment process immedi-

User pro/les sa vepersonal settings. If theve hicle
is used byseveral people, a person can change
th eir pro/le settings without changing the settings
of other users.
If th eve hicle is equipped with the MBUX high end
Re ar Seat Enter tainment System, the occupants
in there ar compartment can log in as Mercedes
me users from their seats. The Multiseat Pro/le
Management allo ws three pro/les tobe used 378

te d simultaneously on one displa y.
% Some settings apply tothe entire vehicle and
are displ ayed in all user pro/les, e.g. ambient
lighting and the cur rent navigation settings.
These initially belong tothe driver, but can
also be changed bytheot her vehicle occu-
pants in their user pro/le.
Yo u can individualise a user pro/le in theve hicle
using the set-up assistant or using the settings in
yo ur user pro/le. Some settings, e.g. the
Mercedes me PIN and a pro/le pho toare made in
th e Mercedes me app or in the Mercedes me Por-
ta l.
User-speci/c content and applications with per-
sonal data are pr otected bydi.erent le vels of
security. Toaccess pr otected content, the
Mercedes me PIN and, depending on theve hicle
equipment, biometric senso rscan be used.
% The security le vel is set bythe multimedia sys-
te m and calculated from the combination of
all sensor inputs. Some security le vels cannot
be turned o.. %
When a user pro/le is activated, thefo llowing
personalised comfort systems, forex ample,
can be adjusted or their settings loaded:

are available for downloading for a limited period
of time.

medium.

If th e driver display fails or there is a malfunction,
yo u may not recognise limitations in the functions

may be impaired. Drive on carefully and ha vethe
ve hicle checked at a quali/ed specialist workshop
immediately (/ page 515).
