Information on tyres, wheels and permissible com-
binations can be obtained at a quali/ed specialist
wo rkshop.
The smaller the cross-section of a tyre of a speci/c
wheel size, thewo rseth e driving comfort on poor
ro ad sur faces. Ride and damping comfort are
re duced and therisk increases that when you drive
ove r obstacles, damage towheels and tyres may
re sult.
If yo uch ange wheel size on your vehicle, check it
is assigned tothe cor rect wheel size category
(/ page 260). If the assignment changes without
re coding the control units in theve hicle, the
speedome ter will not display the speed accuratel y.
