Pregnant women restraint

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation recommends that pregnant women use the available seat belts. This will reduce the likelihood of injury to both the woman and
the unborn child. The lap belt should be worn as low as
possible throughout the pregnancy.
Seat belt inspection FG2BD·A
(1) Check the belts fo r cuts, w orn or frayed w ebbing and for crack ed or defo rm ed m eta ll ic par ts . Rep lace the belts i f defective. (2) A dirty belt should b e c leaned with n eutral d ete rgent in warm wate r. Afte r rin sing in wate r, le t it dry in the s had e. Do not atte m pt to bl eac h or re -d ye the belts because thi s affects their ch arac teris ti cs .
& CAUTION All seat belt assemblies including retractors and at­taching hardware should be inspected by an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer after any collision. We recommend that seat belt. assemblies in use during a collision be replaced unless the collision was minor and the belts show no damaQe and continue to operate properly.

(3) If a stream has been crossed , check the engine, transmis ­
sion, and differential oil and propeller shaft grease . If the oil
or grease is milky or cloudy because of its mixing with water, it must be replaced with new oil. (4) Inspect the headlamps. If the headlamp bulb is flooded with water, have the bulb drained off at an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer. (5) Have an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer replace grease in
the wheel bearing.

it CAUTION (1) If the winch is used continuously, do not apply a load in excess of 700 kg (1,543Ibs.). (2) Do not apply a load exceeding the momentary maximum pulling force. The more the cable layers on the drum, the less the momentary maximum pulling force. (3) If the shear pin breaks. contact an authorized MI­TSUBISHI dealer to obtain replacement.
Cautions regarding winch operation EJ04G·B
(1) Never use the winch to lih a man or materials or move
persons .
(2) Before operating the winch, check to be sure that there are no loose winch mounting bolts , broken cable
strands . kinks in the cable, etc.
(3) Because of the possibility of the hook coming off or of the cable breaking , do not allow anyone to be near the
cable while the winch is in use . (4) When the winch is used with the vehicle held, be sure to
apply the parking brake and block the wheels with chocks or the like. (5) When handling the cable, wear leather work gloves to avoid cuts from possible broken cable strands .

After winding up the cable, set the hook and the stopper on the cable guide, tighten the stopper nut, and then replace
the pin.
Set the
winch clutch lever to the "OFF" position.
& CAUTION Whenever the winch is not in use. be sure that the winch shift lever is kept locked in the "OFF" posi­tion.

Even if the winch has not been used, the cable should be pulled out and the winch operated at least once a month.
INSPECTION OF THE CABLE AND HOOK
Check both the cable and the hook, and

The window glass can normally be cleaned using only a sponge and water .
Glass cl
eaner can be used to remove oil, grease , dead insects ,
etc . After washing the glass , wipe dry with a clean, dry, soft cloth. N ever use the same cloth to wipe the window glass as would be used to wipe the paintwork; wax from the painted
s urf ace s could adhere to the glass and reduce its transparency
and visibility.

Us e a soft cloth and glass cleaner to remove grease, dead
inse cts , etc. , from the wiper blades . Replace the wiper blades when they no longer wipe properly .

saadbksia kytkemalla varoitusnelivilkun paalle, pystyt­
tamalla
varoituskolmion, vilkkuvalon ym. sopivan matkan
paahan ajoneuvosta. Kaikkien matkustajien tulee nousta
ajoneuvosta.

To reinstall the lock nut, replace the nut cover with the key still in the lock cylin­der, pressing the nut cover onto the lock nut as far as it will go, then lock it by removing the key.
If a tyre is punctured EN24AOD
If a tyre must be changed due to a puncture , do so only after
first following every precaution for safety: parking the vehicle in
a place where it is not a traffic hazard or dangerous to you and
your vehicle's occupants, on a flat surface , and in such a way that you will not be injured by any part of the vehicle while changing the tyre.
(1) Comply with local regulations concerning the protection of broken-down vehicle by switching on the hazard warning flashers, setting up a warning triangle, flashing signal lamp,
etc., at an adequate distance from the vehicle. Have all
passengers leave the vehicle.
