Speed Sensitive Vol.:
The audio system’s volume is increased with the
vehicle speed. Select the “Speed Sensitive Vol.”
and adjust the effect level with the multi-function
controller. The Speed Sensitive Volume function
is turned off when the level is set to OFF.
Increasing the value will cause the volume to
increase faster with vehicle speed.
DivX
ŠRegistration Code:
The registration code for a device that is used to
download DivX
Šfiles will be displayed on the
screen. If a disc is loaded or a USB memory is
connected to the audio system, this function will
not be activated.
Display Album Cover Art:
When this item is turned to ON, the album cover
image is displayed when playing compressed
music files through a CD, DVD, iPod
Šor MP3
USB memory. When the image is not properly
embedded in the file or device, the image will not
be displayed.

Volume and Beeps settings
The display as illustrated will appear when
pushing the SETTING button, selecting the
“Volume & Beeps” key.
Audio Volume:
To increase or decrease the audio volume,
select the “Audio Volume” and adjust it with
the multi-function controller. You can also adjust
the audio volume by turning the VOLUME
control knob.
Guidance Volume:
To adjust the guidance voice volume, select the
“Guidance Volume” and adjust it with the multi-
function controller.

Switch Beeps:
When this item is turned to ON, you will hear a
beep sound when you use a button.
Guidance Voice:
When this item is turned to ON, you will hear
voice guidance in the navigation operation or in
other operations.

REAR DISPLAY settings (if so equipped)
The rear display control screen will appear when
the SETTING button is pushed, the “Rear
Display” key is selected. (See “DVD Entertain-
ment System” (P.4-92) .)
Display Control:
The rear seat display can be set from the front
seat using the control panel. Select the “L” (left)
or “R” (right) display and push Enter button.
When an item is set to ON, the selected side of
the rear display turns on. Select “DVD”, “USB”,
“F.AUX” or “R.AUX” for Source “L” (left) and “R”
(right) and push the ENTER button to switch
each display to the selected source.Auto Display:
When an item is turned on and a DVD or USB
(movie file only) is played, the rear display turns
on automatically.
Rear Speaker:
This item turns the rear speakers on/off.

streaming audio will vary depending on the

operate an audio device before using it with

stopped under the following conditions:
— Receiving a hands-free call.
— Checking the connection to the hands- free phone.
. Do not place a Bluetooth

an area surrounded by metal or far away
from the in-vehicle Bluetooth

prevent tone quality degradation and wire-
less connection disruption.
. While an audio device is connected through
a Bluetooth

tery power of the device may discharge quicker than usual.
. This system supports the Bluetooth

Distribution Profile (A2DP, AVRCP) .
. Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) and the Bluetooth

functions share the same frequency band
(2.4 GHz) . Using the BluetoothŠand the
wireless LAN functions at the same time may
slow down or disconnect the communica-
tion and cause undesired noise. It is
recommended that you turn off the wireless
LAN (Wi-Fi) when using the Bluetooth

functions.

Audio main operation
Head unit:
The auto loudness circuit enhances the low and
high frequency ranges automatically in both
radio reception and CD playback.
ON·OFF/Volume control:
Push the ignition switch to the ACC or ON
position, and then push the ON·OFF button
while the system is off to turn on the last audio
source, which was playing immediately before
the system was turned off. While the system is
on, pushing the ON·OFF button turns the system
off.
Turn the VOL control knob to adjust the volume.
Adjusting tone quality and speaker bal-
ance:
To adjust Bass, Treble, Balance and Fade, push
the AUDIO control knob. When the display
shows the setting you want to change (Bass,
Treble, Balance and Fade) , rotate the AUDIO
control knob to set the desired setting. For the
other setting methods, see “Audio settings”
(P.4-13) .
Switching the display:
Pushing the DISC·AUX button will switch the
displays as follows:

Linking Intelligent Key (if so equipped):
The audio settings can be memorized for each
Intelligent Key. For more details, see “Setting
memory function” (P.3-35) .
FM-AM-SAT radio operation
When the radio band select button is pushed
while the ignition switch is in the ACC or ON
position, the radio will come on at the channel
last played.
The last channel played will also come on when
the ON·OFF button is pushed to ON.
If another audio source is playing when the radio
band select button is turned to ON, the audio
source will automatically be turned off and the
last radio channel played will come on.
When the stereo broadcast signal is weak, the
radio will automatically change from stereo to
monaural reception.
radio (FM·AM) band select:
Pushing the FM·AM radio band select button will
change the band as follows:
AM ?FM1 ?FM2 ?AM
radio (SiriusXM Satellite Radio)
band select:
Pushing the XM radio band select button will
change the band as follows:
XM1 ?XM2 ?XM3 ?XM1
The satellite radio is not available in Alaska,
Hawaii and Guam.
TUNE (Tuning):
. For AM and FM radio
Turn the radio TUNE knob for manual tuning.
. For SiriusXM Satellite Radio
Turn the radio TUNE knob to seek channels
from all of the categories when any category
is not selected.
SEEK tuning:
. For AM and FM radio
Push the SEEK·CAT or TRACK button
orto tune from low to high or high to
low frequencies and to stop at the next
broadcasting station.
. For SiriusXM Satellite Radio
Push the SEEK·CAT or TRACK button
orto tune to the first channel of the next
or previous category.

Select the “List” key on the movie file operation
screen to display the file list.

Input the number to be searched and select the “OK” key.

To adjust the image quality of the screen,
select the preferred adjustment items.

DRC (Dynamic Range Compression) auto-
matically adjusts the soundtrack volume
level to maintain a more even sound to the
speakers.
. Audio
Select the preferred language for audio.
. Subtitle
Select the preferred language for subtitle.
. Display Mode
Select the “Normal”, “Wide”, “Cinema” or
“Full” mode.
BluetoothŠSTREAMING AUDIO
Your NISSAN is equipped with BluetoothŠ
Streaming Audio. If you have a compatible
BluetoothŠdevice with streaming audio (A2DP
profile) , you can set up the wireless connection
between your Bluetooth
Šdevice and the in-
vehicle audio system. This connection allows
you to listen to the audio from the Bluetooth
Š
device using your vehicle speakers. It also may
allow basic control of the device for playing and
skipping audio files using the AVRCP Blue-

toothŠprofile. All BluetoothŠDevices do not
have the same level of controls for AVRCP.

Once your BluetoothŠdevice is connected to
the in-vehicle audio system, it will automatically
reconnect whenever the device is present in the
vehicle and you select Bluetooth
ŠAudio from
your audio system. You do not need to manually
reconnect for each usage.
Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) and the Bluetooth
Š
functions share the same frequency band (2.4
GHz) . Using the BluetoothŠand the wireless
LAN functions at the same time may slow down
or disconnect the communication and cause
undesired noise. It is recommended that you
turn off the wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) when using the
Bluetooth
Šfunctions.

Audio main operation

repeatedly to switch to the Bluetooth

mode. If the system has been turned off while
the Bluetooth
Šaudio device was playing, push-
ing the ON·OFF/VOL control knob will start the
Bluetooth
Šaudio device.
The ability to pause, change tracks, fast forward,
rewind, randomize and repeat music may be
different between devices. Some or all of these
functions may not be supported on each device.
DISC·AUX button:
When the DISC·AUX button is pushed with the
system off and the Bluetooth
Šaudio device
connected, the system will turn on. If another
audio source is playing and the Bluetooth
Š
audio device is connected, push the DISC·AUX
button repeatedly until the display changes to
the Bluetooth
Šaudio mode.
Next/Previous Track and Fast
Forward/Rewind:
When the
orbutton is pushed for more
than 1.5 seconds while a BluetoothŠaudio file is
being played, the BluetoothŠaudio device will
play while forwarding or rewinding. When the
button is released, the Bluetooth
Šaudio device
will return to normal play speed.
When the
orbutton is pushed for less
than 1.5 seconds while a BluetoothŠaudio file is
being played, the next track or the beginning of
the current track on the Bluetooth
Šaudio device
will be played.
When the rewind button is pushed for less than
1.5 seconds within 3 seconds after the current
track starts playing, the previous track will be
played.
The multi-function controller can also be used to
select tracks when the Bluetooth
Šaudio play mode screen is shown on the display. (“Blue-
tooth audio” will be indicated on the header of
the screen.)
Play pattern change:
Push the
button to change the random and
repeat mode.
Operation keys:
To operate a Bluetooth
Šaudio device, select a
key displayed on the operation screen using the
multi-function controller.
Play
Select the “
” key to start playing when
pausing. Select this key again to pause the
audio play.
Pause
Select the “
” key to pause the BluetoothŠ
audio device. Select this key again to resume
playing.
Play Mode:
The play mode setting display will appear when
the “Menu” key is selected.
Choose the preferred play mode from the
screen.
Available play modes change depending on the
