Menu screens and their purposesPush<DEST>, <ROUTE VOICE>,
<PHONE> ,<INFO> or<SETTING> to dis-
play the corresponding menu screen.
How to select a menu item:Example: <DEST> screen
1. Turn the center dial clockwise or counter- clockwise. An item is highlighted accord-
ingly.
2. To select the preferred menu item, highlight the item and push <ENTER>. The next
screen is displayed. 3. Push

screen without applying any changes.
Push <MAP> to return to the current
location map screen without applying any
changes.
INFO:

<MAP> may not return you to the current

Available setting items
.[Audio Volume]:
Adjust the volume level of the audio system
by rotating the center dial in the direction of
[+] or [].
. [Guidance Volume]:
Adjust the volume level of voice guidance by
rotating the center dial in the direction of [+]
or [ ].
. [Ringtone]:
Adjust the volume level of the ringtone by
rotating the center dial in the direction of [+]
or [ ].
. [Incoming Call]:
Adjust the incoming call volume by rotating
the center dial in the direction of [+] or [ ].
. [Outgoing Call]:
Adjust the outgoing call volume by rotating
the center dial in the direction of [+] or [ ].
. [Switch Beeps]:
Select to toggle the beep function between
on and off. The indicator light illuminates
when the beep function is set to on. The
beep sounds when pushing and holding a
button or when a prohibited operation is
performed.
. [Guidance Voice]:
Select to toggle the voice guidance function between on and off. The indicator light
illuminates when the voice guidance func-
tion is set to on.
This changes the clock settings.BASIC OPERATION1. Push

3. Highlight the preferred adjustment item and push <ENTER> .
4. Use the center dial to adjust to the preferred setting. Push <ENTER>to set on or off.

Available setting items
.[On-screen Clock]:
Select to toggle the clock display located in
the top right corner of the display between
on and off. The indicator light illuminates
when the clock display is set to on.
. [Clock Format (24h)]:
Select the clock format between 12-hour
and 24-hour times. The indicator light
illuminates when the clock is set to the 24-
hour format.
. [Offset (hour)]:
Use the center dial to adjust the offset value
(between 12 and +12) .
. [Offset (min)]:
Use the center dial to adjust the offset value
(between 59 and +59) .
. [Daylight Savings Time]:
Select to toggle the daylight savings time
setting between on and off. The indicator
light illuminates when the daylight savings
time setting is set to on. .
[Time Zone]:
Select an appropriate time zone from the list
that appears when this item is highlighted.

This key does not appear on the display until the
ignition switch is pushed to the ON position.

. Auto Interior Illumination:
When this item is turned to ON, the interior
lights will illuminate if any door is unlocked.

. Due to the slope of a road, this meter may
register g-force even when the vehicle is
stopped. This is not a malfunction.
. When the VDC or the ABS is activated, a
mark will appear on the far left side of the
panel (large panel only) .
. The scale of the readout is adjusted auto-
matically to accommodate readings that
exceed the upper limit of the meter.
ClockDisplays the current time. This can only be
displayed as a small panel.
Small panel screen
INFO:
. The displayed clock time is set by the GPS
system.
. The clock time may not be displayed on the
screen when the system is not receiving a
GPS signal, even when the system is set to
display the time.
. You can choose to display the clock in the

. The STOP WATCH function can only be
used when the clock is activated.
. When the STOP WATCH function is acti-
vated, you cannot use the waypoint timer.
This is the waypoint timer after use of the
STOP WATCH function is completed.
. Even if you stop the engine, when RESUME
is set to ON, the timer will not reset and you
will be able to continue timing your travel.
. If a roadway with a long name has been
recorded as a waypoint, the city and state/
province names may not be displayed.
. If a place name that is not contained in the
map data is recorded as a waypoint, the
waypoint will be displayed by longitude and
latitude.
. Town/city/state/province names configured
in region settings will only be displayed on
the Destination screen for regions in which
the vehicle is located.
About Driver’s notes icon:
: Ordinary road
When your vehicle enters a road, the name of
the road is recorded.: Toll road
When your vehicle enters a toll road, the name
of the road is recorded.: U.S. highways
When your vehicle enters a U.S. highways, the
name of the road is recorded.: Freeway
When your vehicle enters a freeway, the name of
the freeway is recorded.: Parking
When the shift lever is put into the P position,
the vehicle’s current location is recorded.: Check point
When <MRK> is pushed, the vehicle’s current
location is recorded.: Start point
When <START/STOP> is pushed to start the
Drivers Notes function, the vehicle’s current
location is recorded.
: Destination
When <START/STOP> is pushed to end the
Drivers Notes function, the vehicle’s current
location is recorded.
Confirming list of waypointsYou can review the list of past trips you have
