As a condition of your vehicle’s warranty, you are responsible for properly maintaining your vehicle. In
maintaining your vehicle, you should follow either Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 as listed below. Use these
guidelines to determine which maintenance schedule to use.
SCHEDULE 1 (more severe operating
conditions) , every 3,750 miles or 3
months, whichever comes first
Use Schedule 1 if you primarily operate your
vehicle under any of these conditions:
●Repeated short trips of less than 5 miles in
normal temperatures or less than 10 miles in
freezing temperatures
● Stop-and-go traffic in hot weather or low
speed driving for long distances
● Driving in dusty conditions or on rough,
muddy, or salt-spread roads
● Towing a trailer, or using a camper or car-top
carrier
SCHEDULE 2 (less severe operating
conditions) , every 7,500 miles or 6
months, whichever comes first
Schedule 2 features 7,500-mile service inter-
vals; with Schedule 2 fewer maintenance items
are regularly checked or replaced than with
Schedule 1.
Generally, Schedule 2 applies only to highway
driving in temperate conditions. Use Schedule
2 only if you primarily operate your vehicle un-
der conditions other than those listed in
Schedule 1.
PREMIUM MAINTENANCE*
Premium Maintenance is a Nissan recom-
mended optional upgrade that adds services to
Schedule 1 and 2 when maintenance is
performed.
Performing the Premium upgrade services may
optimize the performance, durability, reliability,
and resale value of your vehicle. (Premium
Maintenance items are available at every 30,
000 miles or 24 month interval.)
* Premium Maintenance is a Nissan-recommended option; You need not perform such maintenance in order to maintain the warranties which come with your Nissan.
Premium Maintenance may not be available outside the United States, please inquire of your dealer.
❑For the ultimate in preventative maintenance, ask your Service Advisor for a complimentary Multi-Point Inspection every time you visit your partici- pating Nissan dealer. See page 12 for more information on Multi-Point Inspections.
DETERMINING THE PROPER MAINTENANCE INTERVAL

The following descriptions are pro-
vided to give you a better understand-
ing of the scheduled maintenance
items that should be regularly
checked or replaced. The mainte-
nance log indicates at which
mileage/time intervals each item re-
quires service.
In addition to scheduled mainte-
nance, your Nissan requires that
some items be checked during nor-
mal day-to-day operation. You can
find these items listed under “General
Maintenance” in Chapter 8 of your
Owner’s Manual.
Items marked with“*”are recom-
mended by Nissan for reliable vehicle
operation. You are not required to
perform maintenance on these items
in order to maintain the warranties
which come with your Nissan. Other
maintenance items and intervals are
required. When applicable, additional informa-
tion can be found in the “Maintenance
and do-it-yourself” section in Chapter
8 of your Owner’s Manual.
NOTE: Nissan does not advocate the
use of non-OEM approved aftermar-
ket flushing systems and strongly ad-
vises against performing these ser-
vices on a Nissan product. Many of
the aftermarket flushing systems use
non-OEM approved chemicals or sol-
vents, the use of which has not been
validated by Nissan.
For recommended fuel, lubricants,
fluids, grease, and refrigerant, refer to
Chapter 9 in your Owner’s Manual.

your area.) The recommended ser-
vice interval of the factory-fill coolant
is 105,000 miles (168,000 km) or 7
years, whichever comes first. Subse-
quent replacement of Genuine
Nissan Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant
(Blue) should occur every 75,000
miles (120,000 km) or 5 years which-
ever comes first.

The following Maintenance Schedule has been compiled by Nissan to
assist you in performing the recommended maintenance services and
keeping appropriate records of services performed. Along with the
related repair invoices, receipts, and other such records, a properly
documented maintenance history could enhance the value of your
vehicle should you ever wish to sell it. The services listed represent the
minimal Nissan recommended requirements for each time/mileage
interval, up to 120,000 miles / 96 months. Beginning on page 52 you
will find a log that should be used to track when and where services
were performed. Ask your Service Advisor to update your log each time
your vehicle is serviced.
