The headlight aimingcontrol operates whenthe
ignition switchisin the ªONº position andtheheadlight
is on toallow theheadlight axistobe adjusted
according tothe driving condition.
When driving withnoheavy load/luggage ordriving on
a flat road, select thenormal position ª0º.
If the number ofoccupants andload/luggage inthe
vehicle changes, theheadlight axismay become higher
than normal.
If the vehicle istraveling onahilly road, theheadlights
may directly shineonthe rearview andoutside mirrors
of avehicle aheadorthe windshield ofan oncoming
vehicle, whichmayobscure otherdrivers' vision.
T o adjust tothe proper aimingheight, turntheswitch
accordingly .The higher thenumber, designated onthe
switch, thelower theheadlight axis.
