Touchscreen Click Toggles the touch screen click feature on or off. When activated, a click sound will be
heard every time a key on the screen is touched.
System Beeps Toggle the system beep tones feature on or off. When activated, a beep sound will be
heard when a pop-up message appears on the screen or a button on the unit (such as
the
button) is pushed and held for a few seconds.

Touch this key to return all settings to default and to clear the memory.

Rear and front-side views
In the bird’s-eye view, the yellow frame*1is
displayed on each camera image (front, rear,
right, left) depending on where moving objects
are detected.
The yellow frame
*2is displayed on each view
in the front view and rear view modes.
A blue MOD icon
*3is displayed in the view
where the MOD system is operative. A gray
MOD icon
*3is displayed in the view where the
MOD system is not operative.
If the MOD system is turned off, the MOD icon
*3is not displayed.
TURNING MOD ON AND OFF
The MOD system can be turned on and off using
the vehicle information display. (See “Driver
Assistance” (P.2-20) .)
MOD SYSTEM LIMITATIONS
WARNING
Listed below are the system limitations
for MOD. Failure to operate the vehicle
in accordance with these system limita-
tions could result in serious injury or
death.
.Excessive noise (for example, audio
system volume or open vehicle
window) will interfere with the
chime sound, and it may not be
heard.
.The MOD system performance will
be limited according to environmen-
tal conditions and surrounding ob-
jects such as:
— When there is low contrast be-
tween background and the mov-
ing objects.
— When there is blinking source of
light.— When strong light such as an-
other vehicle’s headlight or sun-
light is present.
— When camera orientation is not
in its usual position, such as
when the outside mirror is
folded.
— When there is dirt, water drops
or snow on the camera lens.
— When the position of the moving
objects in the display is not
changed.
.The MOD system might detect flow-
ing water droplets on the camera
lens, white smoke from the muffler,
moving shadows, etc.
.The MOD system may not function
properly depending on the speed,
direction, distance or shape of the
moving objects.
.If your vehicle sustains damage to
the parts where the camera is
installed, leaving it misaligned or
bent, the sensing zone may be
altered and the MOD system may
not detect objects properly.

.Some BluetoothŠaudio devices may not be
recognized by the in-vehicle audio system.
.It is necessary to set up the wireless
connection between a compatible Blue-
tooth
Šaudio device and the in-vehicle
BluetoothŠmodule before using the Blue-
toothŠaudio player.
.Operating procedure of the BluetoothŠ
audio player will vary depending on the
device. Make sure it is understood how to
operate an audio device before using it with
this system.
.The Bluetooth
Šaudio player may be
stopped under the following conditions:
— Receiving a hands-free call.
— Checking the connection to the hands-
free phone.
.Do not place a Bluetooth
Šaudio device in
an area surrounded by metal or far away
from the in-vehicle Bluetooth
Šmodule to
prevent tone quality degradation and wire-
less connection disruption.
.While an audio device is connected through
a Bluetooth
Šwireless connection, the bat-tery power of the device may discharge
quicker than usual.
.This system supports the Bluetooth
ŠAudio
Distribution Profile (A2DP, AVRCP) .
.Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) and the Bluetooth
Š
functions share the same frequency band
(2.4 GHz) . Using the BluetoothŠand the
wireless LAN functions at the same time may
slow down or disconnect the communica-
tion and cause undesired noise. It is
recommended that you turn off the wireless
LAN (Wi-Fi) when using the Bluetooth
Š
functions.

Audio main operation
The audio system operates when the ignition
switch is placed in the ACC or ON position.
Head unit:
The auto loudness circuit enhances the low and
high frequency ranges automatically.
Power/VOL dial:
Push the Power/VOL dial to turn on and off the
audio system.
Turn the Power/VOL dial to adjust the volume.
Audio settings:
The settings screen will appear when the
ENTER SETTING/TUNE·FOLDER dial is
pushed.
