REMOTE kEyLESS ENTR y SySTEM  
(if so equipped) 
LOCk DOORS
Press the  LOC k button to lock all doors.
UNLOC k DOORS
Press the  UNLOCk button once to unlock 
the driver’s door only. Press the button again 
within 5 seconds to unlock all doors.
RELEASING TRUN k LID
Press and hold the TRUNk RELEASE 
button for longer than 0.5 seconds to open 
the trunk lid.
USING  THE P ANIC A LARM
Press and hold the PANIC button for longer than 0.5 seconds. The panic 
alarm will sound and the headlights will stay on for 25 seconds. The panic 
alarm stops when it has run for 25 seconds or when any button is pressed on 
the keyfob.
SILENCING THE HORN BEEP FEATURE
 To deactivate: Press and hold the LOC k and UNLOCk buttons for at least 2 
seconds.
 To activate: Press and hold the LOC k and UNLOCk buttons for at least 2 seconds  
once more.
FOLDING DOWN THE REAR SEATS  
(if so equipped) 
The rear seats can be folded forward to 
load larger objects.
 Pull the seatback release knob located 
on the side wall of the trunk to release 
the seatback. 
  Fold down the rear seatback.  
ADDITIONAL FEATU R E S
CHILD SAFET y REAR DOOR LOC k
Child safety locks help prevent the rear doors 
from being opened accidentally, especially when 
small children are in the vehicle. The child safety 
lock levers are located on the edge of the rear 
doors. When the lever is in the  LOCk position,  
the door can be opened only from the outside.
SUNROOF CONTROLS (if so equipped)
 The ignition switch must be in the ON position 
to operate the sunroof.
TILTING THE SUNROOF
  To tilt the sunroof up, push the switch toward 
UP/CLOSE. 01 
  To tilt the sunroof down, push the switch 
toward DOWN/OPEN. 02
SLIDING THE SUNROOF
  To close the sunroof, push the switch toward 
UP/CLOSE. 01
  To open the sunroof, push the switch toward 
DOWN/OPEN. 02
CUP HOLDERS
The front cup holder has 
an adapter that can be 
removed to accommodate 
larger cups. Twist the adapter 
counterclockwise and pull up 
to remove it.

INTERIOR TRUN k LID RELEASE 
The interior trunk lid release mechanism provides a 
means of escape for children and adults in the event 
they become locked inside the trunk.
 Rotate the illuminated lever until the lock releases 
and push up on the trunk lid.
  The release lever glows in the dark after a brief 
exposure to ambient light.
CLOC k SET/ADJUSTMENT
 Press and hold the  CLOCk button for more than 1.5 seconds 
to enter the clock set mode.
 Press the  CLOCk button to set hours, then use the 	>or <
buttons to adjust.
  Press the  CLOCk button again to set minutes, then use the  	>or < buttons to adjust.
  Press the  CLOCk button again to exit clock set mode.
FUEL FILLER LID OPENER
The fuel filler lid opener lever is located on 
the outside of the driver’s seat.
 To open the fuel filler lid, pull the opener  
lever up.
  To lock, close the fuel filler lid securely.
MANUAL FRONT SEAT 
ADJUSTMENTS
 FORWARD  AND BACkWARD
  Pull up on the lever under the front 
of the seat and slide backward or 
forward to the desired position. 
Release the lever to lock the seat 
in position.
 R ECLINING
  Lift the lever on the side of the 
seat to adjust your seatback 
backward or forward; release 
the lever when you have found a 
comfortable angle and the seat 
belt fits properly. 01
 S EAT  LIFTER (if so equipped for 
driver’s seat)
  Turn either dial to adjust the angle 
and height of the seat cushion to 
the desired postion. 02

FAN SPEED CONTROL DIAL
Turn the fan speed control dial  to the left (slow) or right (fast) to control fan 
speed. 
TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL
Turn the temperature control dial for the desired temperature. Turn the control dial 
to the left for cold air or right for hot air.
AIR FLOW CONTROL DIAL
Turn the dial to select the following air flow outlets:
 Air flows from the center and side vents. 
 Air flows from the center, side, and foot vents.
 Air flows mainly from the foot vents.
 Air flows from the defroster and foot vents.
 Air flows mainly from the defroster vents.
DEFROSTING/DEFOGGING FRONT AND SIDE WINDOWS
 Turn the air flow control dial to the front window defroster mode . The A/C 
automatically turns on when the defroster mode is selected.
 Turn the temperature control dial left or right to set the desired temperature.
 To set the defroster on high, turn the fan speed dial all the way to the right. 
R EAR  WINDOW  DEFROSTER
Push the rear window defroster switchon. Push the switch again to manually 
turn the defroster off. This function automatically turns off in approximately 15 
minutes.
A/C ON/OFF BUTTON (if so equipped)
Press the A/C button to turn the A/C on or off. 
A IR R ECIRCULATION  BUTTON
 Press the air recirculation buttonto recirculate air inside the vehicle.
 Press the air recirculation buttonagain to turn air recirculation off. 
 The air recirculation mode cannot be selected if the air flow control dial is in the 
defrost position .

R ADIO BUT TONPressing the RADIO button will change the band to either FM, AM or SAT* radio stations. When the radio select button is pressed while the ignition switch is in ACC or ON, the radio will come on at the station last played. 
SCAN BUT TONPress the SCAN button.  When listening to the radio it will stop at each station that has significant signal strength for 5 seconds.  If listening to a CD, it will select the previous/ next selections. 
A UDIO
 BUT TONPress the AUDIO button until the desired mode appears in the display, then use the < or   < buttons to adjust the tone quality and speaker balance (for example, Bass, Treble, Fader, Balance) to the desired level.
R ADIO  MANUAL  TUNING  BUT TON /CLOC k BUT TONS /SEE k
  Press < or < for less than 0.5 seconds to manually change radio stations. Press for more than 0.5 seconds to find the next broadcasting station with a strong signal.
STATION AND CD SELECT BUT TONSTo store a station in a preset you must first select A, B, or C memory bank by pressing the PRESET A·B·C button and tune to the desired AM, FM or SAT* station. Then press the desired station select button for at least 2 seconds. When the preset indicator illuminates, a beep will sound, indicating memorization is complete. To retrieve a previously set station, select the memory bank where the preset was set, then press the corresponding station select button.
CD - C/AUX BUT TONActivates and displays CD play functions and audio for devices plugged into the  AUX IN jack. 
PRESET A · B · C BUT TONPress the PRESET A · B · C button until you reach the desired setting. The radio is equipped with three separate banks, each with six station presets. You may store any combination of AM, FM, or SAT* radio presets on each bank.
RPT BUT TONPress to change the play pattern as follows: 1 – The current selection is repeated. NORMAL (no symbol will appear) – All selections are played in sequence.
MIX  (R ANDOM  PL A y) BUT TONSelections are played at random, not following the sequence on the compact disc. The same program may be repeated twice.
CAT BUT TON (if so equipped)Category button for satellite radio (if activated).
AUX INPlug in and play a compatible device, such as an MP3 player.

04WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER SWITCH
	The ignition switch must be in the ON 
position to activate the windshield 
wipers.
	Push the lever down to operate the 
windshield wipers.
	Switch operation includes:
LCN0044
 Intermittent (if so equipped) – Wipers 
operate intermittently and can be 
adjusted by turning the time control.
LCN0045
  Low speed – Wipers operate at a continuous low speed.
LCN0046
 High speed – Wipers operate at a continuous high speed.
LCN0042
 Wash – Pull the lever toward you. Wipers automatically wipe several times.
03HEADLIGHT AND TURN SIGNAL CONTROL
HEADLIGHT SWITCH
  Turn the headlight switch to the  position to turn on the front parking, tail, license plate and instrument panel lights.
  Turn the headlight switch to the  position to turn on the headlights. All other lights remain on.
HIGH BEAM
  Push the headlight switch forward to select the high beam function. The blue indicator light illuminates. Pull the headlight switch back to the original position to select the low beam. The blue indicator light goes off.
  Pull and release the headlight switch to flash the headlight high beams on and off.
TURN SIGNAL SWITCH 
  Move the headlight control switch up or down to signal the turning direction. When the turn is completed, the turn signals cancel automatically. 
  To signal a lane change, move the headlight control switch up or down to the point where the indicator light begins to flash, but the headlight control switch does not latch. 
FOG LIGHT OPERATION (if so equipped) 
Note: The headlights must be on and the low beams selected for the fog lights to operate. 
     Turn the switch to theposition to turn on the fog lights. 
    Turn the switch to the OFF position to turn off the fog lights.
CRUISE CONTROL (if so equipped)
	To activate the cruise control, push the 
(ON/OFF) switch on. The indicator light 
in the instrument panel comes on.
	To set cruising speed, accelerate the 
vehicle to desired speed, push the 
COAST/SET switch and release it. The 
SET indicator light in the instrument 
panel will illuminate.
	To reset at a faster cruising speed, push and hold the ACCEL/RES switch. 
When the vehicle attains the speed you desire, release the switch.
	To reset at a slower cruising speed, push and hold the COAST/SET switch. 
Release the switch when the vehicle slows to the desired speed.
	To resume a preset speed, push and release the ACCEL/RES switch. The 
vehicle returns to the last set cruising speed when the vehicle speed is over 30 
MPH (48 km/h).
	To cancel cruise control, push the CANCEL switch. The SET indicator light in 
the instrument panel will go out.
	To turn off cruise control, push the (ON/OFF) switch. Both the CRUISE 
indicator light and the SET light in the instrument panel will go out.

TRIP COMPUTER (if so equipped)
The trip computer readout is in the speedometer display. It can show the following items:
	TRIP “A” – Measures the distance of one specific trip.
	TRIP “B” – Measures the distance of a second specific trip.
	OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE – The temperature is displayed in °F or °C. The word “ICY” will display if temperatures are below 37°F (3°C).
	DISTANCE TO EMPTY (dte) – Estimates the distance that can be driven  before refueling.
	AVERAGE FUEL CONSUMPTION – (mpg or l/100km) Shows the average fuel consumption since the last reset.
	AVERAGE SPEED – (mph or km/h) Shows the average speed since the last reset.
	JOURNEY TIME – Shows the time since the last reset.
	RESET – Press the CHANGE button on the instrument panel for more than  1 second to reset the trip odometer to zero.
With the ignition key in the ON position or the vehicle running, you can select an 
item by pressing the CHANGE button on the instrument panel.

    Turn the switch to the OFF position to turn off the fog lights.

	To activate the cruise control, push the 
(ON/OFF) switch on. The indicator light 
in the instrument panel comes on.
	To set cruising speed, accelerate the 
vehicle to desired speed, push the 
COAST/SET switch and release it. The 
SET indicator light in the instrument 
panel will illuminate.
	To reset at a faster cruising speed, push and hold the ACCEL/RES switch. 
When the vehicle attains the speed you desire, release the switch.
	To reset at a slower cruising speed, push and hold the COAST/SET switch. 
Release the switch when the vehicle slows to the desired speed.
	To resume a preset speed, push and release the ACCEL/RES switch. The 
vehicle returns to the last set cruising speed when the vehicle speed is over 30 
MPH (48 km/h).
	To cancel cruise control, push the CANCEL switch. The SET indicator light in 
the instrument panel will go out.
	To turn off cruise control, push the (ON/OFF) switch. Both the CRUISE 
indicator light and the SET light in the instrument panel will go out.

TRIP COMPUTER (if so equipped)
The trip computer readout is in the speedometer display. It can show the following items:
	TRIP “A” – Measures the distance of one specific trip.
	TRIP “B” – Measures the distance of a second specific trip.
	OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE – The temperature is displayed in °F or °C. The word “ICY” will display if temperatures are below 37°F (3°C).
	DISTANCE TO EMPTY (dte) – Estimates the distance that can be driven  before refueling.
	AVERAGE FUEL CONSUMPTION – (mpg or l/100km) Shows the average fuel consumption since the last reset.
	AVERAGE SPEED – (mph or km/h) Shows the average speed since the last reset.
	JOURNEY TIME – Shows the time since the last reset.
	RESET – Press the CHANGE button on the instrument panel for more than  1 second to reset the trip odometer to zero.
With the ignition key in the ON position or the vehicle running, you can select an 
item by pressing the CHANGE button on the instrument panel.

FAN SPEED CONTROL DIAL
Turn the fan speed control dial  to the left (slow) or right (fast) to control fan 
speed. 
TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL
Turn the temperature control dial for the desired temperature. Turn the control dial 
to the left for cold air or right for hot air.
AIR FLOW CONTROL DIAL
Turn the dial to select the following air flow outlets:
 Air flows from the center and side vents. 
 Air flows from the center, side, and foot vents.
 Air flows mainly from the foot vents.
 Air flows from the defroster and foot vents.
 Air flows mainly from the defroster vents.
DEFROSTING/DEFOGGING FRONT AND SIDE WINDOWS
 Turn the air flow control dial to the front window defroster mode . The A/C 
automatically turns on when the defroster mode is selected.
 Turn the temperature control dial left or right to set the desired temperature.
 To set the defroster on high, turn the fan speed dial all the way to the right. 
R EAR  WINDOW  DEFROSTER
Push the rear window defroster switchon. Push the switch again to manually 
turn the defroster off. This function automatically turns off in approximately 15 
minutes.
A/C ON/OFF BUTTON (if so equipped)
Press the A/C button to turn the A/C on or off. 
A IR R ECIRCULATION  BUTTON
 Press the air recirculation buttonto recirculate air inside the vehicle.
 Press the air recirculation buttonagain to turn air recirculation off. 
 The air recirculation mode cannot be selected if the air flow control dial is in the 
defrost position .

R ADIO BUT TONPressing the RADIO button will change the band to either FM, AM or SAT* radio stations. When the radio select button is pressed while the ignition switch is in ACC or ON, the radio will come on at the station last played. 
SCAN BUT TONPress the SCAN button.  When listening to the radio it will stop at each station that has significant signal strength for 5 seconds.  If listening to a CD, it will select the previous/ next selections. 
A UDIO
 BUT TONPress the AUDIO button until the desired mode appears in the display, then use the < or   < buttons to adjust the tone quality and speaker balance (for example, Bass, Treble, Fader, Balance) to the desired level.

  Press < or < for less than 0.5 seconds to manually change radio stations. Press for more than 0.5 seconds to find the next broadcasting station with a strong signal.
STATION AND CD SELECT BUT TONSTo store a station in a preset you must first select A, B, or C memory bank by pressing the PRESET A·B·C button and tune to the desired AM, FM or SAT* station. Then press the desired station select button for at least 2 seconds. When the preset indicator illuminates, a beep will sound, indicating memorization is complete. To retrieve a previously set station, select the memory bank where the preset was set, then press the corresponding station select button.
CD - C/AUX BUT TONActivates and displays CD play functions and audio for devices plugged into the  AUX IN jack. 
PRESET A · B · C BUT TONPress the PRESET A · B · C button until you reach the desired setting. The radio is equipped with three separate banks, each with six station presets. You may store any combination of AM, FM, or SAT* radio presets on each bank.
RPT BUT TONPress to change the play pattern as follows: 1 – The current selection is repeated. NORMAL (no symbol will appear) – All selections are played in sequence.

HEADLIGHT SWITCH
  Turn the headlight switch to the  position to turn on the front parking, tail, license plate and instrument panel lights.
  Turn the headlight switch to the  position to turn on the headlights. All other lights remain on.
HIGH BEAM
  Push the headlight switch forward to select the high beam function. The blue indicator light illuminates. Pull the headlight switch back to the original position to select the low beam. The blue indicator light goes off.
  Pull and release the headlight switch to flash the headlight high beams on and off.
TURN SIGNAL SWITCH 
  Move the headlight control switch up or down to signal the turning direction. When the turn is completed, the turn signals cancel automatically. 
  To signal a lane change, move the headlight control switch up or down to the point where the indicator light begins to flash, but the headlight control switch does not latch. 
FOG LIGHT OPERATION (if so equipped) 
Note: The headlights must be on and the low beams selected for the fog lights to operate. 
     Turn the switch to theposition to turn on the fog lights. 
    Turn the switch to the OFF position to turn off the fog lights.

LOCk DOORS
Press the  LOC k button to lock all doors.
UNLOC k DOORS
Press the  UNLOCk button once to unlock 
the driver’s door only. Press the button again 
within 5 seconds to unlock all doors.
RELEASING TRUN k LID
Press and hold the TRUNk RELEASE 
button for longer than 0.5 seconds to open 
the trunk lid.
USING  THE P ANIC A LARM
Press and hold the PANIC button for longer than 0.5 seconds. The panic 
alarm will sound and the headlights will stay on for 25 seconds. The panic 
alarm stops when it has run for 25 seconds or when any button is pressed on 
the keyfob.
SILENCING THE HORN BEEP FEATURE
 To deactivate: Press and hold the LOC k and UNLOCk buttons for at least 2 
seconds.
 To activate: Press and hold the LOC k and UNLOCk buttons for at least 2 seconds  
once more.
FOLDING DOWN THE REAR SEATS  
(if so equipped) 
The rear seats can be folded forward to 
load larger objects.
 Pull the seatback release knob located 
on the side wall of the trunk to release 
the seatback. 
  Fold down the rear seatback.

CHILD SAFET y REAR DOOR LOC k
Child safety locks help prevent the rear doors 
from being opened accidentally, especially when 
small children are in the vehicle. The child safety 
lock levers are located on the edge of the rear 
doors. When the lever is in the  LOCk position,  
the door can be opened only from the outside.
SUNROOF CONTROLS (if so equipped)
 The ignition switch must be in the ON position 
to operate the sunroof.
TILTING THE SUNROOF
  To tilt the sunroof up, push the switch toward 
UP/CLOSE. 01 
  To tilt the sunroof down, push the switch 
toward DOWN/OPEN. 02
SLIDING THE SUNROOF
  To close the sunroof, push the switch toward 
UP/CLOSE. 01
  To open the sunroof, push the switch toward 
DOWN/OPEN. 02
CUP HOLDERS
The front cup holder has 
an adapter that can be 
removed to accommodate 
larger cups. Twist the adapter 
counterclockwise and pull up 
to remove it.

INTERIOR TRUN k LID RELEASE 
The interior trunk lid release mechanism provides a 
means of escape for children and adults in the event 
they become locked inside the trunk.
 Rotate the illuminated lever until the lock releases 
and push up on the trunk lid.
  The release lever glows in the dark after a brief 
exposure to ambient light.
CLOC k SET/ADJUSTMENT
 Press and hold the  CLOCk button for more than 1.5 seconds 
to enter the clock set mode.
 Press the  CLOCk button to set hours, then use the 	>or <
buttons to adjust.
  Press the  CLOCk button again to set minutes, then use the  	>or < buttons to adjust.
  Press the  CLOCk button again to exit clock set mode.
