HEATED SEAT
Passenger Side
LOW FUNCTION
When front heated seat switch (passenger side) is in LOW position, power is supplied
through front heated seat switch (passenger side) terminal 2
to seat heater (passenger side) terminals 21.
And, ground is supplied
to seat heater terminal 20
through grounds B214 and B217.
Then seat heater (passenger side) LOW function is activated.
At this time ground is supplied
to front heated seat switch (passenger side) terminal 4
through grounds M71 and M72.
Then indicator illuminates in front heated seat switch (passenger side).
HIGH FUNCTIN
When front heated seat switch (passenger side) is in HIGH position, power is supplied
through front heated seat switch (passenger side) terminal 3
to seat heater (passenger side) terminals 22.
And, ground is supplied
to seat heater terminal 20
through grounds B214 and B217.
Then seat heater (passenger side) HIGH function is activated.
At this time ground is supplied
to front heated seat switch (passenger side) terminal 4
through grounds M71 and M72.
Then indicator illuminates in front heated seat switch (passenger side).
REAR HEATED SEAT
When ignition switch is ON, heated seat relay activates.
Then power is supplied
through 10A fuse [No. 3, located in fuse block (J/B)]
through heated seat relay terminals 6 and 7
to heated seat control unit terminal 41 and
to rear heated seat switch LH terminal 22 and RH terminal 30.
Ground is supplied at all times
to heated seat control unit terminal 42
through grounds B16 and B17.
LH Side
LOW FUNCTION
When rear heated seat switch LH is in LOW position, ground is supplied
to heated seat control unit terminal 20
through rear heated seat switch LH terminals 20 and 21
through grounds B16 and B17.
And, power is supplied
through heated seat control unit terminal 36
to seat heater LH terminal 36
ground is supplied
to seat heater LH terminal 39
through grounds B16 and B17.
Then seat heater LH LOW function is activated.
At this time ground is supplied
to rear heated seat switch LH terminal 23

Check Heated Seat Control Unit Power Supply and Ground Circuit BIS0013K
1. CHECK FUSE
Check the following fuses.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 2.
NG >> If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse, refer to PG-
3, "POWER SUPPLY ROUTING CIRCUIT" .
2. CHECK HEATED SEAT RELAY
Check voltage between heated seat relay harness connector and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 3.
NG >> Repair or replace harness between fuse and heated
seat relay.
3. CHECK HEATED SEAT RELAY
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect heated seat relay connector.
3. Check continuity between terminals.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 4.
NG >> Replace heated seat relay.

System Description BIS0013R
Air bladder is built in seatback.
There are four bladder in each seatback.
Upper air bladder and lower air bladder are inflated by turns.
Air bladder is inflated with air by air massage seat pump.
Air massage seat pump is controlled by air massage seat con-
trol unit.
Air massage seat pump has two operation pattern, LOW and
HIGH.
Air massage seat solenoid performs the change of LOW and
HIGH.
Air massage seat solenoid is built in air massage seat control
unit.
Front air massage seat switch is LOW and HIGH switch.
FRONT AIR MASSAGE SEAT OPERATION
With the ignition switch to ON or START position, power is supplied
through 15A fuse [No.15, located in the fuse block (J/B)]
to air massage seat control unit terminal 15, and
to front air massage seat switch terminal 1.
Ground is supplied
through air massage seat control unit terminal 18,
through body grounds B214 and B217.
When front air massage seat switch is LOW position, power is suppled
through front air massage seat switch terminal 2,
to air massage seat control unit terminal 16,
Then front air massage seat LOW function is activated.
When front air massage seat switch is HIGH position, power is suppled
through front air massage seat switch terminal 3,
to air massage seat control unit terminal 17,
Then front air massage seat HIGH function is activated.

Check Air Massage Seat Control Unit Power Supply BIS00142
1. CHECK FUSE
Check the following fuse.
OK or NG
OK >> Check power supply harness.
NG >> If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse, refer to PG-
3, "POWER SUPPLY ROUTING CIRCUIT" .
Check Air Massage Seat Control Unit Power Supply and Ground Circuit BIS00145
1. CHECK AIR MASSAGE SEAT CONTROL UNIT POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check voltage between air massage seat control unit harness
connector B320 terminal 15 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 2.
NG >> Check harness between air massage seat control unit
and fuse block.
2. CHECK AIR MASSAGE SEAT CONTROL UNIT GROUND CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect air massage seat control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between air massage seat control unit harness
connector B320 terminal 18 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> Air massage seat control unit power supply and ground
circuit are OK.
NG >> Repair or replace harness.

Check Front Air Massage Seat Switch Circuit BIS00146
1. CHECK FRONT AIR MASSAGE SEAT SWITCH CIRCUIT 1
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front air massage seat switch connector.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Check voltage between front air massage seat switch harness
connector M90 terminal 1 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 2.
NG >> Check harness between front air massage seat switch
and fuse block.
2. CHECK FRONT AIR MASSAGE SEAT SWITCH CIRCUIT 2
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Connect front air massage seat switch connector.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Check voltage between front air massage seat switch harness
connector and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 4.
NG >> GO TO 3.
3. CHECK FRONT AIR MASSAGE SEAT SWITCH
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front air massage seat switch connector.
3. Check continuity between front air massage seat switch termi-
nals.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 4.
NG >> Replace front air massage seat switch.1 (GR) – Ground : Battery voltage.

8. Remove seat cushion trim and pad from seat cushion frame.
9. After removing seat cushion trim and pad, remove hog rings (non-reusable parts) to separate trim and pad
and seat heater unit.
10. Remove screws, and then remove the power seat switch.
11. Remove seat cushion bolts, and then remove seat cushion
frame.
12. Disconnect air valve connector and then, disconnect pump tube connector.
13. Remove air valve nuts, and then remove air valve.
14. Disconnect dual-lock fastener, and then air pump.
ASSEMBLY
Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
