fere with theoperation ofthe TPMS andcause thelow

TPMS resetting

T o keep theTPMS functioning properly,the reset
operation mustbeperformed inthe following cases.
. when thetirepressure isadjusted
. when atire orawheel isreplaced
. when thetires arerotated
Perform thefollowing procedures toreset theTPMS.
1. Park thevehicle inasafe andlevel place.
2. Apply theparking brakeandplace theshift lever in
the ªPº (Park) position.
3. Adjust thetire pressure onallfour tires tothe
recommended COLDtirepressure shownonthe
tire placard. Useatire pressure gaugetocheck
the tirepressure.
4. Place theignition switchinthe ªONº
position.

several minutes atspeeds above25km/h (16
MPH) .
If the low tirepressure warninglightilluminates after
the resetting operation, itmay indicate thattheTPMS
is not functioning properly.Have thesystem checked
by aNISSAN dealer.
