Ð When onlyonelight onthe oncoming
vehicle orthe leading vehicleisillumi-
nated.
Ð When theoncoming vehicleorthe lead-
ing vehicle isatwo-wheeled vehicle. Ð
Road conditions (incline,curve,theroad
surface, etc.).
Ð The number ofpassengers andthe
amount ofluggage.
High beam assist operations:

headlight switchtothe ªAUT Oºposition

beam assist indicator lightinthe meter willilluminate
while theheadlights areturned on.
If the high beam assist indicator lightdoes not illuminate
inthe above condition, itmay indicate that
the system isnot functioning properly.Have thesystem
checked byaNISSAN dealer.
When thevehicle speedlowers toless than approxi-
mately 25km/h (16MPH) ,the headlight remainsthe
low beam.
T o turn offthe high beam assist system, turnthe
headlight switchtothe
position orselect thelow
beam position byplacing thelever inthe neutral
position.

assist system islocated infront ofthe inside rearview
mirror. To keep theproper operation ofthe high beam
assist system andprevent asystem malfunction, be
sure toobserve thefollowing:
. Always keepthewindshield clean.
. Donot attach asticker (including transparent
material) orinstall anaccessory neartheambient
image sensor.
. Donot strike ordamage theareas around the
ambient imagesensor. Donot touch thesensor
lens thatislocated onthe ambient imagesensor.
If the ambient imagesensor isdamaged duetoan
