Stop System:
While theengine isstopped bythe Stop/Start System
or the Idling StopSystem, switching theairflow tothe
front defogger willcause theengine toautomatically
restart.
While theengine isrunning, selecting airflowtothe
front defogger willprevent theStop/Start Systemor
Idling StopSystem fromautomatically stoppingthe
engine.
When theengine isstopped bythe Stop/Start System
or Idling StopSystem, heaterandairconditioner
performance maybereduced. To keep fullheater and
air conditioner performance, restarttheengine by
pushing theStop/Start SystemOFFswitch orthe
Idling StopSystem OFFswitch, orby placing the

position, andinsert theCompact Disc(CD) intothe
slot with thelabel sidefacing up.The CDwillbe
guided automatically intotheslot and start playing.
After loading theCD, thenumber oftracks onthe CD
and theplay time willappear onthe display .
If the radio isalready operating, itwill automatically turn
off and theCD willplay . If
the system hasbeen turned offwhile theCD was
playing, pushing thePower/VOL dialwillstart theCD.
