41 Fittings
In order to obtain additional space,the spare wheel can be removed temporarily (boot tray available as anaccessory).














Boot fi ttings


1. Rear parcel shelf

To remove the shelf:


- unhook the shelf from its fixing A,

- pull upwards on each side to detach it from
its fixings,

- raise then tilt the shelf slightly to remove it. There are two shel
f storage options:
- either behind the rear seats,
- or flat in the boot. Located under the carpet and a plastic cover,
this contains the tools for wheel chan
ging and
towing.

)As far as possible, immobilise the vehicle
on level, stable, non-slippery ground. )Apply the parking brake, switch off the
ignition and engage first gear or reverse
for the manual gearbox, position Nfor the2 Tronic gearbox. The followin
g tools are installed in a carrier,
located in the centre of the spare wheel:

Access to the spare wheel and
the jack in the boot
) Remove the carpet then the plastic cover using the handle.



Tyre pressures

These are indicated on the label positioned on the inner pillar of the left door, see
"Identification markings".



























Changing a wheel

If necessary, chock the wheel diagonally
opposite the wheel to be changed.) You must ensure that the occupants leave
the vehicle and wait in a safe location.

Towing the vehicle
)
Install the towing bar. )
Put the gear lever into neutral (position Nfor the 2 Tronic gearbox).
)Take the removable towing eye stowed in
the spare wheel, under the boot carpet.
)Unclip the plastic cover. )Fully screw in the towing eye.

General
recommendations
Observe the legislation in force in your country.Ensure that the weight of the towing vehicle is higher than that of the towedvehicle.The driver must stay at the wheel of thetowed vehicle. Driving on motorways and fast roads is prohibited when towing.When towing a vehicle with all four wheels on the ground, always use an approved towing bar; rope and strapsare prohibited.When towing a vehicle with the engine off, there is no longer any power assistance for braking or steering.In the following cases, you must always call on a professional recovery service:- vehicle broken down on a motor way
or fast road,- when it is not possible to put the gearbox into neutral, unlock thesteering, or release the parkingbrake,- towing with only two wheels on theground, - where there is no approved towingbar available...

Your vehicle can only be towed at the front.
Never use the radiator crossmember.
To w i ng with fours wheels on theroad must be carried out at very low speed over a very shor t distance (in accordance with the legislation in force).
In all other cases, your vehicle must betranspor ted on a trailer.

Failure to obser ve this instruction maylead to damage to cer tain components (braking, transmission, ...) and the absence of braking assistance when theengine is started.

Unlock the steering by turning the key to
the first position and release the parkingbrake. ) Switch on the hazard warning lamps onboth vehicles.
