Displays on the screen
This displays the following information:
- the time,
- the date,

- the status of the openings (doors, boot, ...),
- the trip computer (refer to the end of the section).
Warning messages (e.g.: "Emission
control system faulty") or information
messages (e.g.: "Boot open") may ap-
pear temporarily. These can be cleared
by pressing the "ESC" button.

Controls General menu
There are three display control buttons:
- "ESC" to abandon the operation in
progress,
- "MENU" to scroll through the menus
or sub-menus,
- "OK" to select the menu or sub-menu
required.

Display settings
Once the "Display settings" menu has
been selected, you can gain access to
the following settings:
- year,
- month,
- day,
- hour,
- minutes,
- 12 or 24 hour mode.
Language
Once the "Language" menu has been
selected, you can change the language
used by the display (Français, Italiano,
Nederlands, Portugues, Portugues-
Brasil, Deutsch, English, Espanol).
Units
Once the "Units" menu has been se-
lected, you can change the units of the
following parameters:
- temperature (°C or °F),
- fuel consumption (l/100 km, mpg or km/l).
Once you have selected a setting,
press the " " or " " buttons to
change its value.
Press the " " or " " buttons to
switch respectively to the previous
or next setting.
Press the "OK" button to record the
change and return to the normal dis-
play or press the "ESC" button to
cancel.

Options
Once the "Options" menu has been se-
lected, you can start diagnostics of the
status of the equipment (active, not ac-
tive, faulty).
O n c e t h e " V e h i c l e C o n fi g u r a t i o n " m e n u
has been selected, you can activate or
deactivate the following equipment:
- wiper linked with reverse gear (refer
to the "Visibility" section),
- directional headlamps (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- "guide-me-home" lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section).

"Telephone" menu
With the audio equipment switched on,
once this menu has been selected you
c a n c o n fi g u r e y o u r B l u e t o o t h h a n d s -
free kit (pairing), consult the various
telephone directories (calls log, serv-
ices...) and manage your communica-
tions (pick up, hang up, call waiting, se-
cret mode...).
For further details concerning the "Tel-
ephone" application, refer to the PC
Sound part of the "Audio and Telemat-
ics" section.

Lost keys
Visit a PEUGEOT dealer with the vehicle's V5 registration document and your
p e r s o n a l i d e n t i fi c a t i o n d o c u m e n t s .
The PEUGEOT dealer will be able to retrieve the ke y code and the transponder
code required to order a replacement key.
Remote control
The high frequency remote control is a sensitive system; do not o perate it
while it is in your pocket as there is a possibility that it ma y unlock the vehicle,
without you being aware of it.
Do not repeatedly press the buttons of your remote control out of range and
out of sight of your vehicle. You run the risk of stopping it from working and the
remote control would have to be reinitialised.
The remote control does not operate when the key is in the ignition, even
when the ignition is switched off, except for reinitialisat ion.
Locking the vehicle
Driving with the doors locked may make access to t he passenger compartment
b y t h e e m e r g e n c y s e r v i c e s m o r e d i f fi c u l t i n a n e m e r g e n c y .
As a safety precaution (with children on board), r emove the key from the ignition
when you leave the vehicle, even for a short time.
Anti-theft protection
D o n o t m a k e a n y m o d i fi c a t i o n s t o t h e e l e c t r o n i c e n g i n e i m m o b i l i s e r s y s t e m ;
this could cause malfunctions.
When purchasing a second-hand vehicle
Have the key codes memorised by a PEUGEOT dealer, to ensure that the
keys in your possession are the only ones which can start the vehicle .

Programming
Turn dial 1 to the "CRUISE" po-sition: the cruise control mode is selected but is not switched on (OFF).
Exceeding the programmed speed
Intentional or unintentional exceeding of the programmed s p e e d r e s u l t s i n fl a s h i n g o f t h i s s p e e d o n t h e d i s p l a y .
Return to the programmed speed, by means of intentional or unintentional deceleration of the vehicle, automatically can- c e l s t h e fl a s h i n g o f t h e s p e e d .
Return to normal driving
Turn dial 1 to the "0" position: the cruise control mode is deselected. The display returns to the distance recorder.
Operating fault
In the event of a cruise control mal-function, the speed is cleared result- i n g i n fl a s h i n g o f t h e d a s h e s . C o n t a c t a PEUGEOT dealer to have the system checked.
Set the programmed speed by ac-celerating to the required speed, then press button 2 or 3 (e.g.: 70 mph (110 km/h)).
Switch off the cruise control by pressing button 4 : the d i s p l a y c o n fi r m s t h a t i t h a s b e e n s w i t c h e d o f f ( O F F ) .
Switch the cruise control back on by pressing button 4again.
You can then change the programmed speed using buttons 2 and 3 :
- by + or - 1 mph (km/h) = short press,
- by + or - 5 mph (km/h) = long press,
- in steps of + or - 5 mph (km/h) = maintained press.

SELECTING A STATION
Press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select the R A D I O .

B r i e fl y p r e s s o n e o f t h e b u t t o n s t o carry out an automatic search of the radio stations.
Press one of the buttons to carry out a manual search of the radio stations.
Press the LIST button to display the list of stations received locally ( 6 0 m a x i m u m ) . To update this list, press for more than two seconds.

T h e R D S , i f d i s p l a y e d , e n a b l e s y o u t o c o n t i n u e l i s t e n i n g t o t h e s a m e station by automatic retuning to alternative fequen cies. However, in c e r t a i n c o n d i t i o n s , c o v e r a g e o f a n R D S s t a t i o n m a y n o t b e a s s u r e d throughout the country as radio stations do not cover 100 % of the territory. This explains the loss of reception of the station during a journey.
