Engine compartment fuses

compartment, near the battery (left-
h a n d s i d e ) .
Access to the fuses
Unclip the cover.
Replace the fuse (refer to the cor-
r e s p o n d i n g p a r a g r a p h ) .

cover carefully to guarantee the

The batteries contain harmful sub-
stances such as sulphuric acid and
lead. They must be disposed of in
accordance with regulations and
must not, in any circumstances, be
discarded with household waste.
Take used remote control batteries
and vehicle batteries to a special
collection point.
Charging the battery using a
battery charger
Disconnect the battery from the ve-
hicle.
Follow the instructions for use pro-
vided by the manufacturer of the
charger.
Reconnect starting with the nega-
t i v e t e r m i n a l ( - ) .
Check that the terminals and connec-
tors are clean. If they are covered with
s u l p h a t e ( w h i t i s h o r g r e e n i s h d e p o s i t ) ,
remove them and clean them.
LOAD REDUCTION MODE
System which manages the use of cer-tain functions in relation to the level of charge remaining in the battery.
When the vehicle is being driven, the load reduction function temporarily deactivates certain functions, such as the air condi-tioning, the rear screen de-icing...
The deactivated functions are reactivat-ed automatically as soon as conditions permit.
It is advisable to disconnect the
battery if the vehicle is to be left un-
used for more than one month. Before disconnecting the
battery
Wait 2 minutes after switching off
the ignition before disconnecting
the battery.
Close the windows and the doors
before disconnecting the battery.
Following reconnection of the
battery
Following reconnection of the bat-
tery, switch on the ignition and wait
1 minute before starting to permit in-
itialisation of the electronic systems.
H o w e v e r , i f s l i g h t d i f fi c u l t i e s a r e e n -
countered following this operation,
contact a PEUGEOT dealer.

ENERGY ECONOMY MODE
System which manages the duration of
use of certain functions to conserve a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o f c h a r g e i n t h e b a t t e r y .
After the engine has stopped, you can
still use functions such as the audio
equipment, windscreen wipers, dipped
headlamps, courtesy lights, etc. for a
m a x i m u m c o m b i n e d d u r a t i o n o f t h i r -
ty minutes. Exiting economy mode
These functions are reactivated auto-
m a t i c a l l y n e x t t i m e t h e v e h i c l e i s d r i v e n .
In order to resume the use of these
functions immediately, start the en-
gine and let it run for a few minutes.
The time available to you will then
be double the duration for which the
engine is left running. However, this
p e r i o d w i l l a l w a y s b e b e t w e e n fi v e a n d
thirty minutes.
Switching to economy mode
Once the thirty minutes are over, a
message appears on the multi-func-
tion display indicating that the vehicle
has switched to economy mode and the
active functions are put on standby. CHANGING A WIPER BLADE Procedure for replacing a worn wiper blade with a new one without the use of tools.
Removing a front or rear wiper
blade
Raise the corresponding wiper arm.
Unclip the wiper blade and remove it.
Fitting a front or rear wiper
blade
At the front, check the size of the wiper blade as the shorter blade is fi t t e d o n t h e r i g h t - h a n d s i d e o f t h e vehicle.
Put the corresponding new wiper blade in place and clip it.
Fold down the wiper arm carefully.

IDENTIFICATION FEATURES
Various visible marking elements for the i d e n t i fi c a t i o n a n d t r a c k i n g o f y o u r v e h i c l e .
A. Chassis number under the bonnet. This number is etched on the bodywork n e a r t h e p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t fi l t e r .
B. Chassis number on the fascia. This number is indicated on a gummed label which is visible through the wind-screen.
C. Chassis number on the chassis. This number is indicated on a self-destroying label affixed to the centre pillar, near the driver's door striker.
D. Manufacturer's label. T h i s l a b e l i s a f fi x e d t o t h e e d g e o f t h e door on the driver's side. It bears the following information: - the wheel rim and tyre sizes,
- the brands of tyre recommended by the manufacturer,
- t h e a s s o c i a t e d i n fl a t i o n p r e s s u r e s ,
- the paint colour reference.

In an emergency, press the SOS button until a CONFIRMATION/CANCELLATION screen is displayed. A call is made * to the PEUGEOTEmergency team which receives locating information from the vehicle and can send a detailed alert to the appropriate emergency services. In countries in which the team is not operational, or when the locating service has been expressly refused, the call is directed to the emergency s e r v i c e s ( 1 1 2 ) .
