Manual operation
If you wish, you can make a different
choice from that offered by the sys
tem by changing a setting. The other
functions will still be controlled auto
matically. Pressing the "AUTO" but
ton returns the system to completely
automatic operation.
4. Air conditioning
Press this button to switch
off the air conditioning. The
symbol "ECO" is displayed.
Automatic operation of the
air conditioning is resumed
when the button is pressed again.
The symbol "A/C" is displayed.
Note
It is quite normal that the condensa
tion created by the air conditioning
results in a flow of water under the
vehicle when it is stationary.
5. Air distribution
Pressing this button several
times in succession
enables the air flow to be
directed in turn towards:
– the windscreen (deicing or demist ing), – the windscreen and the footwells,
– the footwells,
– the centre and side vents and the
footwells,
– the centre and side vents.
6. Air flow
The flow of air can be
increased or reduced
by pressing buttons +
or – respectively.
7. Air intake Press this button for recir
culation of the interior air.
Recirculation, shown on
the display, enables the
passenger compartment to be insu
lated from exterior odours and
smoke.
Avoid prolonged recirculation of inte
rior air. To do this, press the button
again to resume intake of exterior air. 8. Switching the system off
The "OFF" button enables
the entire system to be
switched off.
9. Demisting the rear screen and the mirrors
Press this button to demist
the rear screen and the mir
rors. Demisting switches
off automatically. It is possi
ble to stop operation of the
demisting before it is switched off
automatically by pressing the button
again.
Important precaution
Operate the air conditioning for 5 to
10 minutes, once or twice a month,
to keep it in good working order.
If the system does not produce cold
air, do not use it and contact your
PEUGEOT dealer.
Note : to optimise the operation of the
air conditioning, leave the vents
open.

KONTROL STABILITASDINAMIS (ESP) Kedua sistem ini saling terhubung dan merupakan pelengkap sistemABS.
Sistem ASR mengoptimalkan kinerja rem roda penggerak dan mesinuntuk menghindari roda selip. Sistemini berfungsi juga untuk memperbaikistabilitas laju kendaraan.
Jika terdapat perbedaan antara linta-san yang dilalui kendaraan dan lintasanyang diinginkan pengemudi, sistem
ESP akan beraksi secara otomatispada rem dari salah satu atau bebera-pa roda dan pada mesin untuk menga-rahkan kendaraan ke lintasan yangdiinginkan oleh pengemudi.

SISTEM BANTUAN DAYA
SAAT PENGEREMAN
DARURAT Sistem ini memungkinkan pengere- man dilakukan dengan lebih cepatdan optimal dalam situasi daruratsehingga jarak pengereman akanberkurang. Sistem ini akan terpicu sesuai den- gan kecepatan pengaktifan pedalrem. Kemudian resistensi pedal remakan dikurangi dan efisiensi penge-reman ditambah. Sistem ESP memberikantingkat keamanan yangtinggi saat berkendaranormal, namun pengemu-di tetap dituntut untuk
selalu berhati-hati dengan tidakmengambil risiko atau memperce-pat laju kendaraan. Sistem ini akan beroperasi dengan
sempurna jika Anda mengguna-kan roda (ban dan velg), sistemrem, komponen elektronik yangdirekomendasikan oleh produsenserta melakukan pemasangan di
jaringan bengkel PEUGEOT. Setelah terjadi benturan, periksa- kan sistem ini di Dealer servis resmi
PEUGEOT.

Fitting a wheel Position the wheel using the cen
tralising tool 5to assist you.
Tighten the bolts by hand and
remove the centralising tool 5.
Partly tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace 1.
Fold the jack 4 and remove it.
Fully tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace 1.
Replace the wheel trim, starting
by placing the wheel trim notch
opposite the valve, and press it
on using the palm of the hand.
Put the corresponding tools in the
holder and secure its cover.
Place the holder on the ground
and align the spare wheel on it.
Pass the notched hook into the
holder cover.
Refit the wheel under the vehicle
tightening the winch control nut
using the wheelbrace 1.
Fully tighten and check that the
wheel is horizontally flush
against the rear floor .
Close the flap using the lug to
lock the winch.
Store the rest of the tools in the
righthand trim of the boot. For your safety, always
change the wheel:
on level, stable, nonslippery ground,
with the handbrake on and the ignition switched off,
with first or reverse gear engaged (position Pfor the
automatic gearbox),
with the vehicle chocked.
Never go underneath a vehicle
that is supported only by a jack
(use a ramp).
Never refit the holder under the
vehicle without the spare
wheel.
After changing the wheel:
have the correct positioning of the punctured wheel, the tight
ening of the bolts and the tyre
pressure checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer as soon as
possible.
have the punctured tyre repaired and refit it to the vehicle
as soon as possible.
have the correct positioning of the spare wheel checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer.

CHANGING A BULB
Front lights
Note:on the right–hand side, remove the style cover, fixed
with two plastic screws, to access the bulbs. Handle the
bulbs with a dry cloth.
1 Dipped beam headlamps (H755W).
2 Main beam headlamps (H155W).
3 Front fog lamps (H155 W). Turn the protective cover corresponding to the faulty
bulb a quarter of a turn and remove it.
Disconnect the connector.
Press the end of the securing clip to free it. Change the
bulb.
When fitting the new bulb, ensure that the direction
notches are positioned correctly and the securing clip
is fixed properly.
Reconnect the connector.
Refit the protective cover, positioning it with the arrow
upwards, then turn it a quarter of a turn to the right. The headlamps are fitted with polycarbonate glass with a
protective coating.
Do not clean them with a dry or abra
sive cloth, nor with a detergent or solvent product. Use
a sponge and soapy water.
4 Side lights W 5 W. Pull the socket rearwards, remove the bulb and change
it.
5 Direction indicators (PY 21 W amber). Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a turn and remove it.
Change the bulb.
Note : In certain climatic conditions (low temperature,
humidity), condensation inside the headlamp glass is
normal ; it disappears a few minutes after the lights are
switched on.

Engine compartment fuses
Fuse box
To access the fuse box in the engine
compartment (beside the battery): unclip the cover.
Carefully close the cover and refit
the style cover when you have fin
ished.

equipment or accessories on your
vehicle, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
PEUGEOT will not accept respon
sibility for the cost incurred in

fying the malfunctions resulting
from the installation of acces
sories not supplied and not rec
ommended by PEUGEOT and not
installed in accordance with its
instructions, in particular where
the equipment in question con
sumes more than 10 mil
liamperes.
