The contextual menu associated with
the "Navigation Guidance" applica
tion appears as a superimposed dis
play, when this is the application cur
rently in use in the main screen window.
This menu is limited to the following
functions:
changing of the initial route (enter ing of a diversion),
switching to "Selection Movement on map" mode*,
storing of the current location (postal address if available or, if it
is not, the GPS coordinates),
changing of the route calculation criteria,
stopping or resuming of guidance (displaying of the message which
changes depending on the previ
ous status).
General notes on the "Map" appli
cation*
The map guidance can be displayed
in two ways:
full screen map,
reduced size map on the righthand side and zoom image of the
junction on the lefthand side.
To switch from one to the other,
press the dial for more than two sec
onds.
To switch from one to the other,
press the knob for more than two
seconds.
The "Map" application has two oper
ating modes: "Selection Movement on
map"** mode,
"Vehicle following on map"
mode.
A "Zoom" function enables you to
enlarge the map around the selected
point, in accordance with the eleven
preset levels relating to the following
scales:
100 m/cm, 200 m/cm, 500 m/cm,
1 km/cm, 2 km/cm, 5 km/cm,
10 km/cm, 20 km/cm, 50 km/cm,
100 km/cm, 200 km/cm.
This is achieved by turning the dial. This mode permits:
selection of any point on the map
to obtain guidance towards it or to
obtain information about it (postal
address if available or, if it is not,
GPS coordinates),
lateral movement on the map by means of the four directional
arrows, representing the four cardi
nal points (North, East, South,
West),
zooming in on the map in accor dance with the eleven preset lev

navigation if the guidance is active,
zooming in on the map in accor dance with the eleven preset lev
els,
displaying of the "Navigation
Guidance" contextual menu.
"Vehicle following on map" mode
From the
general menu , the main
"Map" menu offers various options
for guidance management:
switching to "Selection Movement on map" mode**,
direction of the map towards the North or in the direction of the vehi
cle,
recentering of the map around the vehicle when it has disappeared **,
opening of the services selection window visible on the map,
displaying of the window for enter ing the description for recording
the current position of the vehicle
in a directory file.

VENTILATION
1 . Windscreen deicing or demisting vents.

Advice on operation Place the air flow control at a level sufficient to ensure a good renewal of air in the passenger compartment.
The ''OFF'' position cuts off all the air circulation in the passenger comp artment.
Note: only use the ''OFF'' position occasionally (risk of condensation).
For perfectly even air distribution, take care not to obstruct th e exterior air intake grilles, the vents and the air ducts under
the front seats, as well as the air extractor located in the b oot. Check that the pollen filter is in good condition.

With the engine running,
pressing the button once
demists the rear screen
and the mirrors.
This switches off automatically after
approximately twelve minutes.
Pressing again activates demisting
for a further twelve minutes.
It is possible to stop demisting by
pressing the button again before the
end of the twelve minutes.

AIR CONDITIONING
1. Air conditioning control
The air conditioning is designed to
operate in all seasons. In summer, it
enables the temperature to be low
ered and in winter, above 0 °C, it
increases the effectiveness of the
demisting. Press the switch, the indica
tor light comes on. The air conditioning does not
operate while the air flow adjust
ment control is in the "OFF" posi
tion
.
Note:
It is quite normal that the condensa
tion created by the air conditioning
results in a flow of water under the
vehicle when it is stationary. 2. Temperature adjustment

heating and cooling performance to
be improved.
Used in a humid climate, recircula

to the outside air position, to prevent
deterioration of the air quality. The
indicator light switches off.
3. Air distribution adjustment

– Place the temperature and air flow controls to maximum,
– Close the centre vents,
– Switch air intake button 5to the
"Outside Air" position (button 5
released, indicator light off),
– Start the air conditioning by press ing the AC button.

Important precaution
Operate the air conditioning system
for 5 to 10 minutes, once or twice a
month, to keep it in perfect working
order.
If the system does not produce cold
air, do not use it and contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.
Note: to optimise the operation of
the air conditioning, leave the vents
open.

AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING
Automatic operation
1. Temperature adjustment The chosen temperatureis displayed. Press the up
and down arrows to
change it. A setting
around 21 °C enables a
comfortable temperature

Press the "AUTO" button.
The system automatically
adjusts the atmosphere
inside the vehicle in accor
dance with the chosen temperature.
To do this, it controls the tempera
ture, the flow, the distribution and the
intake of air as well as the air condi
tioning. 3. Automatic visibility
programme
In some cases, the auto
matic comfort programme
may not be sufficient for
de–icing or demisting of the
windows (humidity, several passen
gers, ice etc.). In this case, select the
automatic visibility programme to
clear the windows quickly.
