ENERGY ECONOMY MODE
System which manages the duration of
u s e o f c e r t a i n f u n c t i o n s t o c o n s e r v e a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o f c h a r g e i n t h e b a t t e r y .
A f t e r t h e e n g i n e h a s s t o p p e d , y o u c a n
still use functions such as the audio and
telematics system, windscreen wipers,
d i p p e d h e a d l a m p s , c o u r t e s y l i g h t s , e t c .
for a maximum combined duration of
t h i r t y m i n u t e s . Exiting economy mode
T h e s e f u n c t i o n s a r e r e a c t i v a t e d a u t o -
m a t i c a l l y n e x t t i m e t h e v e h i c l e i s d r i v e n .
I n o r d e r t o r e s u m e t h e u s e o f t h e s e
functions immediately, start the en-
g i n e a n d l e t i t r u n :
- for less than ten minutes, to use the equipment for approximately
fi v e m i n u t e s ,
- for more than ten minutes, to use the equipment for up to approxi-

CHANGING A WIPER BLADE

TOWING A TRAILER, A CARAVAN, ETC.
Y o u r v e h i c l e i s p r i m a r i l y d e s i g n e d f o r
transporting people and luggage, but it
m a y a l s o b e u s e d f o r t o w i n g a t r a i l e r . Distribution of loads
Distribute the load in the trailer so
t h a t t h e h e a v i e s t i t e m s a r e a s c l o s e
as possible to the axle and the nose
weight approaches the maximum
p e r m i t t e d w i t h o u t e x c e e d i n g i t .
A i r d e n s i t y d e c r e a s e s w i t h a l t i t u d e , t h u s
r e d u c i n g e n g i n e p e r f o r m a n c e . A b o v e
1 000 metres, the maximum towing load
must be reduced by 10 % and so on for
e v e r y 1 0 0 0 m e t r e s o f a l t i t u d e .
