Service overdue
For 5 seconds after the ignition is switched on,
the spanner flashesto indicate that the service must be carried out as soon as possible.
Example:the ser vice is overdue by 18 0 miles(300 km).
For 5 seconds after the ignition is switched on,
the screen indicates:
The distance remaining may be weighted by the time factor, dependingon the driving conditions.
Therefore, the spanner may also come
on if you have exceeded the two year service interval.
Following this operation, if you wish to disconnect the battery, lock the vehicle and wait at least five minutes for the zero reset to be taken into account. 5 seconds a
fter the ignition is switched on,
the distance recorder resumes its normal
operation. The spanner remains on.
Service indicator zero reset

After each ser vice, the ser vice indicator mustbe reset to zero.
The procedure for resetting to zero is as
follows: ) switch off the ignition,)
press and hold the trip distance recorder
zero reset button,
) switch on the ignition; the distance recorder
display begins a countdown, ) when the display indicates "=0", release
the button; the spanner disappears.
Retrieving the serviceinformation

You can access the ser vice information at any
time.
)Press the trip distance recorder zero reset button.
The ser vice information is displayed for a
few seconds, then disappears.

Engine oil level indicator

Oil level incorrect

This is indicated by a message in the
instrument panel screen.

f the low oil level is confirmed by a check usingthe dipstick, the level must be topped up to
avoid damage to the engine.
Oil level indicator fault
This is indicated by a message in the instrument panel screen. Contact a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualified workshop.
Dipstick
Refer to the "Checks" section to locate the
dipstick and the oil filler cap on your engine.
There are 2 marks on the dipstick: The total milea
ge is displayed in zone Aof thescreen and the trip mileage in zone B.
With the trip milea
ge displayed, press the button for a few seconds.


Mileage recorder

p recorder zero reset
System which informs the driver whether theengine oil level is correct or not.
This information is indicated for a few seconds
when the ignition is switched on, after theservice information.

The level read will only be correct if
the vehicle is on level ground and the engine has been off for more than30 minutes.

If dashes are displayed continuously while driving in place of the digits,contact a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop.

This function is only displayed from20 mph (30 km/h).
This value may vary following a change in the style of driving or the relief, resulting in a significant change in the current fuel consumption.
A few definitions…

Range
(miles or km)
This indicates the distance whichcan still be travelled with the fuel
remaining in the tank in relation
to the average fuel consumptionover the last few miles (kilometres) travelled.
When the ran
ge falls below 20 miles (30 km),
dashes are displayed. After filling with at least 5 litres of fuel, the range is recalculated and is
displayed when it exceeds 60 miles (10 0 km).
Current fuel consumption
(mpg or l/100 km or km/l)This is the average fuel consumption
during the last few seconds.

Average fuel consumption
(mpg or l/100 km or km/l)
This is the average fuelconsumption since the last tripcomputer zero reset.
Average speed
(mph or km/h)
This is the average speed calculated
since the last trip computer zero reset
(ignition on).

the control for more than two seconds or make a long press on the left hand thumb
wheel of the steering mounted controls.
Trips "1"
and "2"are independent but their useis identical.
For example, trip "1"
can be used for daily figures, and trip "2"
for monthly figures.

Changing the battery of the key

Battery ref.: CR2032/3 volts.
This replacement battery is available from
a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
A message appears in the instrument panel
screen when replacement of the battery is
needed. ) Unclip the cover using a small screwdriver at the cutout. )
Lift off the cover.
)
Remove the flat battery from its location.)
Fit the new battery into its location observing the original direction of fitment. )
Clip the cover onto the casing.
Do not throw the remote control batteries away, they contain metalswhich are harmful to the environment. Take them to an approved collection point.
Reinitialisation with the electronic key
)Switch of the ignition.)Immediately press one of the remotecontrol buttons for a few seconds.
)Switch on the ignition.
The electronic key is fully operational again.

obstacle to closing causes the tailgate to stopand rise a few centimetres automatically.To close the tailgate manually: move the
tailgate slightly up then down to disengage it
from its drive then lower it until closed.
To avoid the risk of injury, ensure
that no one is close to the rear of thevehicle when opening or closing the tailgate.

While electric opening or closing of the tailgate
is in progress, you can stop its movement at

The maximum opening height of the tailgate can be set and memorised (restricted overheadclearance, ...).
This memorisation is done in two steps,by successive presses on button C
:


- during opening, a first press stops the
tailgate at the desired height,

- a second maintained press memorises the
position of the tailgate; an audible signal confirms the memorisation.
To delete this memorisation, make a newmaintained press until the audible signal isheard.
"Boot open" warning
With the engine running or when the vehicle ismoving, if the tailgate is not properly closed,
a message accompanied by an audible signal
(from 6 mph (10 km/h)) is displayed in the
instrument panel screen.

Comfort
Storing driving positions
System which stores the electrical settings of
the driver's seat and door mirrors as well as
the head-up display settings. It enables you to store up to two positions using the buttons on
the side of the driver's seat.

Adjust your seat, the door mirrors and the
head-up display.
) Press button M
, then press button 1or 2within four seconds.
An audible signal indicates that the position
has been stored.
Storing a new position cancels the previous
position.
Recalling a stored position

adjustment.
You can interrupt the current movement bypressing button M, 1 or 2
or by using one of theseat controls.
A stored position cannot be recalled while

Welcome function
The welcome function assists entry and leaving
th
e vehicle.
After switching off the ignition and opening
the driver’s door, the seat moves back
automaticall
y and then stays in this position,
ready for the next entry to the vehicle.
When switching on the ignition, the seat movesfor ward to the stored driving position.
When moving the seat, take care that no person or object hinders the automatic movement of the seat.
To activate or deactivate this function, contact
a PEUGEOT or a qualified workshop.

Dual-zone digital air conditioning


Automatic operation


1. Automatic comfort programme
)
Press this "AUTO"button. The indicator lamp comes on.

We recommend that you use this mode. It
automatically adjusts all settings to provide
optimum operation for the comfor t level chosen: passenger compar tment temperature, air flow, air distribution and air recirculation.
This system is designed to operate effectivelyin all seasons, with the windows closed.
When the engine is cold, to prevent too great a distribution of cold air, the air flow will reach its optimum levelgradually. In cold weather, it favours the distribution of warm air to thewindscreen, side windows and footwells only.


2 - 3. Driver-passenger sideadjustment

The driver and front passenger can each adjust
the temperature to their requirements.

The value indicated on the display corresponds
to a level of comfor t and not to a temperature in
degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
)Turn control 2or 3to the left (blue) or to the right (red)
respectively to decrease or increase this value.

A setting around the value 21 providesoptimum comfort. However, depending on your
requirements, a settin
g between 18 and 24 is
normal.
It is recommended that the difference between
left and right should not be greater 3.
The air conditionin
g can only operate with the engine running.

On entering the vehicle, if the interior temperature is much colder or warmer than the comfort value, there is noneed to change the value displayed in order to obtain the comfort required.The system corrects the differencein temperature automatically and as quickly as possible.
4. Automatic visibility programme

For maximum cooling or heating of thepassenger compartment, it is possibleto exceed the minimum value 14 or themaximum value 28. )
Turn control 2or 3to the left until "LO"is displayed or to the right
until "HI"
is displayed. See "Front demistin
g-defrosting".
)Press this button to equalise thecomfort value on the passenger's
side with that on the driver's side (mono-zone). The indicator lamp in the button comes on.
I
f you wish, you can change one of settings provided by the system. The other functions will still be controlled automatically. )Pressing the "AUTO"button returns the system to completely automatic operation.


Manual operation


5. Mono-zone/Dual-zone
The air conditioning is designed to
operate effectively in all seasons,
with the windows closed.

6. Air conditioning On/Off

It allows you:


- in summer, to lower the temperature,

- in winter, above 3°C, to improve demistin
gperformance.


7. Maximum air conditioning
If you want to temporarily refresh the air in the passenger compartment,
press this button and "LO"isdisplayed.
To return to the previous settings, press the
button again.
With Stop & Start, when demisting hasbeen activated, the STOP mode is notavailable. Switchin
g on) Press the

A/C
"button, the associated green indicator lamp comes on. The air conditioning does not operate when
the air flow control is set to off.
Switching off) Press the "A/C"button again, the
associated green indicator lamp goes off.
Switching off the air conditioning may result in
some discomfort (humidity, misting).
