Comfort
Programmable heating mode
This is an additional and separate system
which heats the engine hot water circuit
to improve defrosting and to preheat thepassenger compartment.
This indicator lam
p comes on if the
system is programmed in preheatingmode.With the i
gnition on, press the left hand
steering mounted thumb wheel for access to
the main menu:
Programming
) In the "Main menu", select "Pre-heating/Pre-ventilation",
)
Select "Activation" and if necessary for programming, "Parameters",
)
Select "Heating" to preheat the engine or passenger compar tment or "Ventilation" to
ventilate the passenger compartment,
) Select:
- immediate to star t the heating ("OK"
once),
- the first clock to programme/store astar ting time,
- the second clock to programme/storeanother starting time.

Programmable Ventilation
mode

This mode allows ventilation of the passenger compartment to improve the temperatureexperienced on entering the vehicle in summer.

Using these two clocks and according to season you can, for example, selectone or the other star ting time. A message in the instrument panel
screen confirms your choice.

Driving
)Fold the 2/3 par t of the rear seat for access
to the green cap.

For reasons of safety you must contact a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as possible to have the cap replaced.
Take care not to place anything dusty or
wet close to the cap.
With an emergency release,immobilisation of the vehicle is no longer be assured once the mechanical release has started and the mechanical tool cannot be used to apply the parkingbrake again.
Do not carry out any action on lever A
,or stop/star t the system while therelease tool is engaged.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
To r e - e ngage the electric parking brake(after correction of the fault or battery failure), make a long pull on the controllever Auntil the parking brake warninglamp (!) flashes in the instrument panel, then make a second long pull until this warning lamp comes on fixed (notflashing).
)
Turn the release tool clockwise
. For
reasons of safetyit is essentialto keep
turning until the stop is reached. The
parking brake is released.) Take care to refit the release tool in its
housing.) The operation of the parking brake is
reinitialised each time the ignition is switched off and on. If reinitialisation of the
parking brake is not possible, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.) The application time may be longer than
with normal operation.
) Pierce the cap and inser t the release tool in
the tube.



The emergency braking should only be used in exceptional circumstances.
