Correct use of air conditioning
Whenever possible use the system
in AUTO mode, if your vehicle is
equipped with automatic air condi-
toning, as this enables the air low,
air temperature within the passenger
compartment, air distribution, and air
intake or air recirculation to operate
to optimum effect.
When the engine is cold, in order to
prevent a rush of cold air, aeration will
reach its optimum level progressively.
To be effective, you should operate
the air conditioning only with the win-
dows closed.
If the interior temperature remains
high after a lengthy period in the
sun, do not hesitate to ventilate the
passenger compartment for a few
moments.
When entering the vehicle, the interi-
or temperature may be considerably
lower (or higher) than is comfortable.
It is useful to modify the temperature
displayed to quickly reach the desired
level of comfort. The system will op-
erate at maximum performance to
compensate as quickly as possible
for the difference in temperature.
To ensure an even distribution of air,
ensure you do not block the air intake
grille at the base of the windscreen,
the air outlets on the loor and the air
extractor at the tailgate pillars.VENTILATION
Note: The 2nd row side vents are
itted with knobs for adjustment of the
air low to the rear seats. Additional
blowers provide improved diffusion
of the air to the 2nd and 3rd row pas-
sengers.
