The comfort program may prove
inadequate to demist or de-ice the
windows quickly (humidity, many
passengers, ice).
F In this situation, select the visibility
program.
The visibility program indicator light
10 comes on.
It manages the air conditioning,
air low, the rear screen demisting
and distributes the ventilation to the
windscreen and side windows as ef-
fectively as possible.
It switches off the air recirculation.
Note: for your comfort, between two
starting operations the settings are
retained if the temperature of the
passenger compartment has not var-
ied a great deal. If it has, operation
will resume in automatic mode.
10 - Visibility program Important precaution
Operate the air conditioning system
for 5 to 10 minutes, once or twice a
month, to keep it in perfect working
order.
If the system does not produce cold
air, do not use it and contact your
PEUGEOT dealer.
Note: the condensation created by
the air conditioning system causes a
low of water under the vehicle when
stationary, which is perfectly normal.
Flashing of the points in the
temperature setting values
indicates that there is a
malfunction of the air condi-
tioning.
Contact your PEUGEOT
dealer.
11 - Switching the system off
F
Turn the air low adjustment con-
trol 6 to the left until the display is
switched off.
This action switches off all of the sys-
tem's functions, with the exception of
the rear screen demisting.
F Turning the control 6 again, or
pressing button 10 or the "AUTO"
button again, switches the system
on again with the same settings
as before. Additional heating
Vehicles itted with an HDI engine
may be itted with automatic additional
heating to improve your comfort.
When the engine is running at idle or
the vehicle is stationary, if you notice
a high-pitched whistling and a slight
emission of smoke and odours, this
is perfectly normal.
