Theautomaticair-conditioningsystemcontrolsthepreselectedinteriortemperaturecompletelyautomatically.Ifnecessary,theautomaticsystemcanbemanuallyinfluenced.
PressAUTObuttonI.AUTOwillappearonthedisplaypanel.Airquantityanddistributionareautomaticallycontrolledandvariationsarecompensated.
Allautomaticsettingfunctionscanbeindividuallychanged.Thissettingisretaineduntiltheappropri-atefunctionbuttonispressedagainortheAUTObuttonispressed.
Settingtemperature
PressbuttonHupwardsordownwardsrespectively.
Tosuitpersonalcomfort,theinteriortem-peraturecanbeadjustedbetween61°Fand85°F/16°Cand29.5°C.
Recommendation:72F/22C.
If“LO”or“HI”appearsonthedisplay,thesystemisoperatingatmaximumcoolingorheatingpower.Automaticcontrolisnolongeractive.

Theairconditioningcompressorswitchesoffautomaticallyattemperaturesbelowapprox.37°F/3°Candcannotbeswitchedon,evenmanually.
Wheneveroutsidetemperaturesexceedapprox.37°F/3°C,theair-conditioningcompressorisalwaysswitchedoninautomaticmode.
Thecompressorcanbeswitchedoffmanuallytosavefuel,butcontrolcomfortisthenlimited:

PressbuttonMupwardsordownwardsrespectively.Thepresetblowerspeedisincreasedordecreased.
Thespeedstagesareindicatedbyabardisplay.
Thecompressorisswitchedoffatlowblowerspeeds.
Ifthebuttonispresseddownwardsatthelowestblowerstage,theblowerandautomaticcontrolareswitchedoff.“OFF”willappearonthedisplayfield.
PressingthebuttonupwardsorpressingtheAUTObuttonswitchestheblowerandautomaticcontrolbackonagain.
Recirculating-airsetting

–Operatesmosteffectivelywiththewindowsclosed.Ifthevehiclehasbeeninthesunforalongtime,itisagoodideatoventilatetheinteriorbrieflywiththewindowsopen.
–Dependingontheoutsidetemperatureandhumidity,condensationcandripfromtheevaporatorandformapoolunderthecar.Thisisnormalandnotasignofleakage.
Ifuncooledairflowsoutwhenthelowesttemperaturehasbeenset,switchofftheairconditioningcompressorandhavethefaultremedied.PleasecontactyourauthorizedPorschedealerforfurtherinformation.
