TRANSPORTING OBJECTS IN THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT
Always place objects carried in the
luggage compartment so that their
largest dimension is against:
- the back of the rear bench seat, for
normal loading.
- the folded down seat, for
maximum loading.
Always put the heaviest
items directly onto the
floor. When the vehicle is
fitted with them, use the
lashing points located on the floor
at the rear to secure transported
items. Luggage should be loaded in
such a way that no item will be
thrown forward and strike the
occupants if the driver has to brake
suddenly. Fasten the rear seat belts,
even if the seats are not occupied.
