HEATING - VENTILATION(continued)
• Position
For improved efficiency, close the
dashboard air vents.
All the air flow is directed to the
windscreen demisters and the side
window demisters.•Position (Isolation
position)
This position prevents any air from
entering (regardless of the position
of controlC). This allows the
passenger compartment to be
isolated from the external
environment (driving through
polluted areas, etc.).
Prolonged use of the ISOLATION
position may cause the windows to
mist up.
We recommend that another
position is selected as soon as the
polluted area is left behind.
Adjusting the amount of air
supplied to the passenger
compartment
Move controlCfrom0to4.
Passenger compartment ventilation
is by blown air. The blower
determines how much air enters but
car speed has some effect on this.
The further the control is positioned
to the right, the greater the volume
of air blown into the passenger
compartment.

HEATING - VENTILATION AND ISOLATING THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT(continued)
Adjusting the air temperature
Move controlA.
The further the control is positioned
to the right, the higher the temperature.
Adjusting the amount of air
supplied to the passenger
compartment
Move controlEfrom0to4.
Passenger compartment ventilation
is by “blown air”. The ventilation
fan determines how much air enters
but vehicle speed has a slight effect
on this.
The further the control is positioned
to the right, the more air is blown
into the passenger compartment.

HEATING - VENTILATION AND ISOLATING THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT(continued)
Isolating the passenger
compartment
ButtonC
Normal operation of the system is
obtained using external air.
The air recirculation position allows
the passenger compartment to be
isolated from the external atmosphere
(driving in polluted areas...).
To enter the isolation mode, press
buttonC.This function allows the desired
warmth of the passenger
compartment to be achieved as
quickly as possible.
This button switches the air
recirculation system on or off.
Warning lightDcomes on when the
function is operational. In this
position, air is taken from within the
passenger compartment and is
recycled without outside air entering.Prolonged use of the isolation mode
may cause odours due to the air not
being renewed and may cause the
windows to mist up.
Return to normal operation (external
air) by pressing buttonCas soon as
the polluted area is left behind.

AIR CONDITIONING(continued)
Air conditioning controls
ControlBoperates or stops
the air conditioning system.
The air conditioningwill not operate
if controlGis positioned on0.Using the air conditioning system:
• lowers the internal passenger
compartment temperature,
especially in hot weather, when
driving in traffic or when the
vehicle has been parked in the
sun;
• reduces the humidity of the air
blown inside the passenger
compartment (prevents misting).
Fuel consumption increases when
the air conditioning system is being
used. (Switch it off when it is not
required.)Note:the air conditioning may be
used in all conditions, but does not
operate when the external
temperature is low.
•ButtonBnot activated (warning
lightCoff)
The air conditioning is not
operational.
Heating and ventilation are
therefore identical to that of a
vehicle without air conditioning.
•ButtonBactivated (warning light
Con)
The air conditioning is operating.
Air is taken from outside the
vehicle and is constantly
renewed.

• Pivot the blade until a resistance
is felt.
• Release the blade by pulling it (C).
Refitting a windscreen or rear
screen wiper blade
Refitting is the reverse of removal.
Ensure the blade is correctly locked
in position.
• In freezing conditions, make
sure that the wiper blades are
not stuck to the windscreen
(risk of overheating the motor).
• Keep an eye on the condition of
the blades. Change them as soon
as they become less efficient:
approximately once a year.
