Manual folding mirrors
The mirror can be manually folded towards the side windows. To put it back to
its original position, it should be folded back from the side window until it audi-
bly clicks into place.
Automatic folding in/back of both mirrors
The exterior mirrors are automatically collapsed after locking the vehicle in the
park position. After unlocking the vehicle, the mirrors are folded back to the
driving position

The selector lever is not locked when quickly moving across the position N
(e.g. from R to D/S ). This, for example, helps to rock out a vehicle that is stuck,
e.g. in a bank of snow. The selector lever lock will engage if the lever is in posi-
tion N for more than approx. 2 seconds without the brake pedal being de-
pressed.
If it is not possible to release the gear selector from mode P in the usual man-
ner, then this can be emergency unlocked

Chromed and anodised parts

Foils
The following instructions must be observed, otherwise there is a risk of foil
damage.
v Do not clean with dirty cloths or sponges.
v To remove ice and snow, do not use a scraper or other means.
v Do not polish the foils
v Do not use a pressure washer to clean the foils

Rubber seals
v Do not treat the door seals and window guides with any products - the pro-
tective lacquer layer could be affected.

Windows and external mirror glass
v Do not clean the inside of the windows with sharp objects - there is a risk
of damage to the filaments or glass antenna.
v Do not use a cloth, which was used to polish the body - this could soil the
window and reduce visibility.
v
Headlights/lights
v Do not dry off the headlights/lights, do not use sharp objects - there is a
risk of damage to the protective coating and subsequent cracking of the
headlight glass.
v
Reversing camera
The following instructions must be observed, otherwise there is a risk of
camera damage.
v Do not remove snow / ice with warm / hot water.
v To wash, never use a pressure washer or steam jet.
v For cleaning, do not use abrasive cleaners.
v
Door lock cylinder
v Make sure that as little water as possible gets into the locking cylinder
when washing the vehicle - there is a risk of freezing the lock cylinder!
v
Wheels v Heavy contamination of the wheels can affect the balance of the wheels -
this can result in vibrations and, under some circumstances, can cause pre-
mature wear of the steering wheel.
