When the personal/interior light
main switch is in the off position,
the rear interior light will not turn on
even if the door is opened with the
rear interior light switch in door
position.

●Illuminated entry system: The lights automatically turn on/off according to
power switch mode, the presence of the electronic key, whether the doors
are locked/unlocked, and whether the doors are opened/closed.
● If the interior lights remain on when the power switch is turned off, the light
will go off automatically after 20 minutes.
● Settings (e.g. the time elapsed before the lights turn off) can be changed.

To prevent 12-volt battery discharge, do not leave the lights on longer than
necessary when the hybrid system is off.

WARNING
● Do not leave glasses, lighters or spray cans in the storage spaces, as this
may cause the following when cabin temperature becomes high:
• Glasses may be deformed by heat or cracked if they come into contact
with other stored items.
• Lighters or spray cans may explode. If they come into contact with other stored items, the lighter may catch fire or the spray can may release
gas, causing a fire hazard.
● When driving or when the storage compartments are not in use, keep the
lids closed.
In the event of sudden braking or sudden swerving, an accident may occur
due to an occupant being struck by an open lid or the items stored inside.

The lid can be opened by pushing
either the front or rear button.
If the lower glove box is opened when the front position lights are illuminated,
the light illuminates.

●When storing a bottle, close the cap.
● The bottle may not be stored depending on its size or shape.
WARNING
Do not place anything other than cups or aluminum cans in the cup holders.
Other items may be thrown out of the holders in the event of an accident or
sudden braking, causing injury. If possible, cover hot drinks to prevent
burns.
NOTICE
Put the cap on before stowing a bottle. Do not place open bottles or glass
and paper cups containing liquid in the bottle holders.
The contents may spill and glasses may break.

Raise the hook to use.
The cargo hooks are provided for
securing loose items.

When closing, lift the deck board
slightly and then fold it towards the
rear of the vehicle.
Lift the center deck board and
then lift the side deck boards.
Lift the side deck board from the
front side of the vehicle to prevent
hitting the cargo hook.

Installing the luggage cover
Set the holder of one side into
the installation position, then
install both holders from below
with the cover in its contracted
state.
■Using the luggage cover
Pull out the luggage cover and
secure it to the hook brackets.
Attach the hooks to the head
restraints.
■Removing the luggage cover
Retract the cover and release
both ends, then lift it out.
