When the steering lock cannot be
released, “Push power switch while
turning the steering wheel in either
direction” will be displayed on the
multi-information display. Check that
the shift lever is set in P. Press the
power switch shortly and firmly while
turning the steering wheel left and
right. When starting the hybrid system, the
power switch may seem stuck in OFF.
To free it, turn the key while turning the
steering wheel slightly left and right.
