Interior features
Rear automatic air conditioning system
■Adjusting the temperature setting
Press “” on the “TEMP” button to increase the temperature and “ ”
to decrease the temperature.
■Adjusting the fan speed
Press “ ” on to increase the fan speed and “ ” to decrease
the fan speed.
Press the “OFF” button to turn the fan off.
Airflow and outlets are automatic ally adjusted according to the
temperature setting.

Changing the air outlets
Press the “MODE” button.
The air flow mode switch each time the button is pressed.
Air flows to the upper body.

Press the “AUTO” button (“AU TO” appears on the display).
Adjust the temperature setting.
To stop the operation, press the “OFF” button.
■Automatic mode indicator
If the fan speed setting or air flow modes are operated, the au to-
matic mode indicator goes off. However, automatic mode for func -
tions other than that o perated is maintained.

The temperature display on the multi-information display can be changed.

The lower side indicator on the “SYNC” button is on. The rear air conditioning
system controls will continue to function. ( P. 332)
NOTICE
■To prevent battery discharge
Do not leave the air conditioning system on longer than necessa ry when the
engine is stopped.

Heated steering wheel/seat heaters
: If equipped
Heated steering wheel and seat heaters heat the side grips of t he
steering wheel and seats, respectively.
WARNING
● Care should be taken to prevent injury if anyone in the following categories
comes in contact with the steering wheel and seats when the hea ter is on:
• Babies, small children, the elderly, the sick and the physical ly chal-
lenged
• Persons with sensitive skin
• Persons who are fatigued
• Persons who have taken alcohol or drugs that induce sleep (sle eping
drugs, cold remedies, etc.)
● Observe the following precautions to prevent minor burns or ove rheating:
• Do not cover the seat with a blanket or cushion when using the seat
heater.
• Do not use seat heater more than necessary.
NOTICE
● Do not put heavy objects that have an uneven surface on the sea t and do
not stick sharp objects (needles, nails, etc.) into the seat.
● To prevent battery discharge, do not use the functions when the engine is
not running.

Turns the heated steering wheel
on/off
The indicator light comes on when
the heated steering wheel is oper-
ating.
●The heated steering wheel can be used when the engine switch is in IGNI-
TION ON mode.
● The heated steering wheel will automatically turn off after about 30 minutes.

●The seat heaters can be used when the engine switch is in the “ ON” position
(vehicles without a smart key system) or IGNITION ON mode (vehi cles with
a smart key system).
● When not in use, move the dial fully downward. The indicator li ght turns off.

When the personal/interior light
main switch is in the off position,
the rear ceiling lights will not turn
on even if the switch is on.
■Adjusting the rear per sonal/interior lights angle (if equipped)
■ Illuminated entry system
Vehicles without a smart key system
The lights automatically turn on/off according to the engine sw itch position,
whether the doors are locked/ unlocked, and whether the doors a re open/
closed.
Vehicles with a smart key system
The lights automatically turn on/off according to engine switch mode, the
presence of the electronic key, whether the doors are locked/un locked, and
whether the doors are open/closed.
■ To prevent battery discharge
If the interior lights remain on when the engine switch is turned off, the lights
will go off automatically after 20 minutes.
■ Customization
Settings (e.g. the time elapsed before lights turn off) can be changed.

Push the edge of the light lens.
NOTICE
■Rear ceiling lights (if equipped)
Do not hang anything on the gap between the ceiling light cover and the
ceiling or pull the ceiling light cover strongly.
Doing so may cause damage.

WARNING
●Do not leave glasses, lighters or spray cans in the storage spa ces, as this
may cause the following when cabin temperature becomes high:
• Glasses may be deformed by heat or cracked if they come into c ontact
with other stored items.
• Lighters or spray cans may explode. If they come into contact with other
stored items, the lighter may catch fire or the spray can may r elease
gas, causing a fire hazard.
● When driving or when the storage compartments are not in use, k eep the
lids closed.
In the event of sudden braking or sudden swerving, an accident may occur
due to an occupant being struck by an open lid or the items sto red inside.
