2. Retirer les rivets démontables et tirer le cache vers
le haut.
Mise en place1. Remettre le cache à sa place, puis monter les fixa-
tions rapides.
2. Remonter le porte-bagages avant et ses boulons,
puis serrer ces derniers aux couples spécifiés.
3. Remettre les caches recouvrant les supports. Couples de serrage:
Boulon de porte-bagages (haut):
26 Nm (2,6 m·kgf)
Boulon de porte-bagages (sous les garde-boue):
7 Nm (0,7 m·kgf)
2. Extraiga los fijadores rápidos y tire del panel
hacia arriba.
Para la instalación1. Ponga el panel en la posición original e instale
los fijadores rápidos.
2. Instale el portaequipajes delantero montando
sus pernos y apretándolos a las torsiones es-
pecificadas.
3. Instale las cubierta delsoporte.Pares de torsión:
Perno del portaequipajes (superior):
26 Nm (2,6 m·kgf)
Perno del portaequipajes
(guardabarros inferior):
7 Nm (0,7 m·kgf)

3. Remove the seat under bracket and the pan-
el by pulling them off.
To install1. Place the panel and the seat under bracket in
the original position.
2. Install the rear carrier by installing the bolts
and tightening them to the specified torques.
3. Install the seat. Tightening torques:
Carrier bolt (top):
26 Nm (2.6 m·kgf)
Carrier bolt (under fenders):
7 Nm (0.7 m·kgf)

en tirant sur ceux-ci.
Mise en place1. Remettre le cache et le support de la base de la selle
à leur place.

boulons, puis serrer ces derniers aux couples spéci-

3. Remettre la selle en place. Couples de serrage:

nel tirando hacia fuera.
Para la instalación1. Ponga el panel en la posición original.

Engine oil and oil filter cartridge
The engine oil level should be checked before
each ride. In addition, the oil must be changed and
the oil filter cartridge replaced at the intervals
specified in the periodic maintenance and lubrica-
tion chart.
To check the engine oil level
1. Remove panel F. (See page 8-33 for panel
removal and installation procedures.)
2. Place the ATV on a level surface.
3. Start the engine, warm it up for several min-
utes, and then turn it off.
4. Wait a few minutes until the oil settles.
5. Remove the engine oil filler cap and wipe off
the dipstick with a clean rag.
