Installing/replacing a sound system
If yo u w ish to insta ll a radio or replace the fac
tory inst alled rad io, p lease note the following:
The factory installed radio connectors are de
signed for genui ne Aud i radios . When insta l
l ing a different rad io, d iff icu lties could arise
such as:
- the radio may not fit into the space provided
- the electrical connections may not be com- patible
- different connector terminals may be need
ed .
Therefore, we recommend that you have yo ur
authorized Audi dealer install or replace the
radio.
They are the most fam il iar with the tech nica l
feat ures of your vehicle . T hey a lso offer Gen u
ine Audi Radios with the necessary insta lla
tion components and instructions .
