Theturnsignalsflashtwicewhenyouunlock the
vehicleandflashoncewhenyoulockthevehicle.
Iftheydonotflash,thenoneofthedoors,the
luggagecompartmentlidorthehoodisnot
closedcompletely.
Automaticlocking(AutoLock)
TheAutoLockfunctionlocksalldoorsandthe
luggagecompartmentlidoncethespeedhasex-
ceededapproximately9mph(15km/h).
Thevehiclecan beunlockediftheopeningfunc-
tioninthecentral lockingsystemswitchisused
oroneofthedoorhandlesispulled.
Inthe eventofacrashwithairbagdeployment,
thedoorswillalsoautomaticallyunlocktoallow
accesstothevehicle.

Thedoorsandluggagecompartmentlidwilllock
whentheyclose.YoucansetintheInfotainment
systemwhetheronlythedriver'sdoorortheen-
tirevehicleshould beunlockedwhenunlocking

Unintentionallylockingyourselfout
Onlylockyourvehiclewhenallofthedoorsand
theluggagecompartmentlidareclosedandthe

vehiclekeyisnotinthevehicle.Thisreducesthe
riskoflockingyourselfoutaccidentally.
Thefollowingfeatureshelptoreducetheriskof
lockingyourvehiclekeyinthevehicle:
—Ifthedriver's doorisopen,thevehiclecannot
belockedbypressingthe@buttononthevehi-
clekeyorbytouchingthelockingsensor*ona
door.
—Ifthemostrecentlyusedconveniencekey*is
insidetheluggagecompartment,theluggage
compartmentlidwillautomaticallyopenagain
afterclosingit.
—Ifthelastconveniencekey*thatwasusedisde-
tectedinsidethevehicle,thevehiclecannotbe
lockedfromtheoutsideforabrieftime>©.

—Ifyouleavethevehicle,switchtheignition
