as

carefully

pan
mounting
bolts
and
lower
oil
pan

front

rear

cover
seam

pump
pickup
tube
and
oil
pan
onto
block

install
pickup
tube
using
a
new
gasket
.

Be
sure
tab
on
gasket
faces
down
towards
intake
of

pickup
tube

the
oil
pan
does
not
separate
easily
from
the
engine
"
Tightenforward
oil
pan
screws
first,
then
tighten
rear
.

with
arubber
mallet

Fill
engine
with
oil
as
described

Maintenance
break
it
free

Do
not
pry
the
oil
pan
loose

oil
filter
housing

drain
into
oil
pan

filter
cover

bracket,
then
remove
alternator
mountíng
bracket
