hood,
fender
covers
will
protect

finish
from
scratches

other
damage

sure

car
is
relatively
clean
so

cover

finish

Any
repair

troublesome
if
the
parts
are
clean

For
cleaning
old
parts,
there

solvents
and
parts
cleaners
commercially
available

cleaning
parts

aerosol
cans

parts
cleaner
or
brake
cleaner
are
handy
to
use,

the
cleaner
will
evaporate
completely

solvents

can
be
safely
driven

should
