REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER (KEY FOB)
Lock
Press to lock all doors.
Unlock
Press to unlock the driver’s door. Press again to unlock all doors.
Trunk
Press twice to open the trunk.
Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm
Press and release to locate your vehicle. The exterior lamps will flash and the horn will sound.
Press and hold to activate the alarm. Press again to cancel the alarm.
Door Key
Press the button on the back of the
transmitter to pull out the door key.
Note: To change the remote lock, unlock, and remote start settings, go to Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.
Remote Vehicle Start
Press and release the Lock button and then immediately press and hold the button until the turn signal lamps flash to start the engine from outside the vehicle. After entering the vehicle, turn on the ignition.
• During a remote start, the engine will run for 10 minutes. Repeat these steps to run the engine for an additional 10 minutes. A remote start can be extended once.
• Press and hold the button until the parking lamps turn off to cancel a remote start.
Remote Start Heated/Ventilated SeatsF
Select the Remote Start Auto Heat or Auto Cool Seats option in the Vehicle Settings to have the heated/ventilated seats turn on during a remote start. The seat button indi-cators do not illuminate and the tempera-ture performance of the unoccupied seat may be reduced during a remote start.
KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEM
The Keyless Access System enables operation of the doors, ignition and trunk without
removing the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter from your pocket or purse. The trans mitter must be within 3 feet of the door being unlocked or within 3 feet of the trunk.
Keyless Unlocking
With the transmitter within range:
Press the lock button on the driver’s door handle to unlock the driver’s door; press it again within 5 seconds to unlock all doors.
Press the lock button on a passenger door handle to unlock all doors.
Press the bottom of the Buick emblem above the license plate to open the trunk.
Keyless Locking
With the ignition off, the transmitter removed from the vehicle, and all doors closed:
Press the lock button on any door handle to lock all doors immediately.
If Passive Locking is turned on, all doors will lock automatically after a short delay.
Note: To change the keyless locking and unlocking settings, go to Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.

The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter must be in the vehicle to turn on the ignition.
Starting the Engine
With the vehicle in Park or Neutral, press the brake pedal and then press the ENGINE START/STOP button to start the engine. The green indicator on the button will illuminate.
Note: If the RKE transmitter battery is weak, place the transmitter in the pocket in the center console storage area to enable the engine to start. Replace the transmitter battery as soon as possible.
Stopping the Engine/Off
With the vehicle stopped, press the Park (P) button on top of the shift lever to shift into Park. Press the ENGINE START/STOP button to turn off the engine.
Power will be available for 10 minutes to operate the audio system until the driver’s door is opened and to operate the windows and sunroofF until any door is opened.
Accessory Mode
With the engine off and the brake pedal NOT depressed, press the ENGINE START/STOP button to place the ignition system in the accessory mode. The amber indicator on the button will illuminate.

A fuel-saving stop/start system has been integrated with the engine. While driving, when the brake pedal is applied and the vehicle is at a complete stop, the automatic engine stop/start system may turn off the engine, depending on operating conditions. When the engine is off, the tachometer gauge will read AUTO STOP. Upon releasing the brake pedal or applying the accelerator pedal, the engine will restart. After parking the vehicle and turn-ing off the engine, the tachometer gauge will read OFF.
The engine may remain running or restart when the vehicle is stopped if:\
• A minimum vehicle speed is not reached.
• The engine or transmission is not at the required operating temperature.
• The outside temperature is not in the required operating range.
• The shift lever is in any gear other than Drive (D).
• The battery charge is low or the battery has been disconnected.
• The current climate control or defog settings have not been reached.
• The Auto Stop time is greater than 2 minutes.

ELECTRONIC PRECISION SHIFT
SELECTIVE RIDE CONTROLF
The automatic transmission shift lever always starts in a center position, represented by a dot on the shift pattern displayed on top of the shift lever. The selected gear position illuminates in red. After shifting, the shift lever returns to the center position.
Park — Press the button (A) on top of the lever to shift into Park.
To shift out of Park, with the ignition on and the brake pedal applied, press and hold the shift lock button (B) on the left side of the lever and select the desired gear.
Reverse — Press and hold the shift lock but-ton (B) on the side of the lever and move the lever forward and then left to shift into Reverse.
Neutral — Move and hold the lever forward for 2 seconds to shift into Neutral.
Note: The transmission will not stay in Neutral for an extended period. It will automatically shift into Park.
Drive — Move the lever rearward to shift into Drive.
Tap Shift Mode — With the transmission in Drive, pull back on the lever to activate Manual Mode. Press the left steering wheel paddle to downshift and the right paddle to upshift. Pull back on the lever again to return to Drive.
Automated Car Wash Mode
To place the transmission in Neutral with the engine running and the vehicle unoccupied:
1. While pressing the brake pedal, open the driver's door.
2. Shift to Neutral and then release the brake pedal. The indicator should continue to show N.
3. Upon returning to the vehicle, shift into Park.

Selective Ride Control automatically adjusts the suspension and steering settings in real time. There are two driving modes.
TOUR — Default mode used for normal city and highway driving.
SPORT — Press the SPORT button on the
center of the instrument panel when road conditions or personal preference demands more responsive, controlled steering and
handling. Press the button again to return to Tour mode.

With the vehicle parked, push down the lever, or press the power controlF, on the left side of the steering column to move the steering wheel up or down and in or out. On the manual column, pull up the lever to lock the steering wheel in place.

The Head-Up Display (HUD) projects some operating information on the windshield. Temporary information, such as audio changes and navigation maneuvers, also may be displayed. The HUD controls are located on the left side of the instrument panel.
HUD HUD
Lift up or press down to adjust the position of the image. It cannot be adjusted side-to-side.
INFO
Press to select from four displays: Speed View; Audio/Phone View; Navigation View; and Performance View.
Brightness
Lift up or press down to brighten or dim the display. Hold down to turn off the display.

The Driver Information Center (DIC) on the instrument cluster displays a variety of vehicle system information and warning messages.
DIC Controls
Use the controls on the right side of the steering wheel to view and move through the DIC menus.
Press the or button to move between the display zones. Press the left button to go back to the previous menu.
Press the or button to scroll through the menus.
Press the button to open a menu or select a setting. Press and hold to reset a value.
Info Pages
1. Use the controls to display the Options menu.
2. Scroll to display Info Pages. Press to view the pages.
3. Scroll through the list of items.
4. Press to select or deselect an item to display in the Info menu.

FRONT SEATS
Power Seat Adjustment
A. Seat Adjustment
Move the horizontal control to move the seat forward or rearward and to tilt, raise or lower the seat.
B. Seatback Recline Adjustment
Move the vertical control to recline or raise the seatback.
C. Lumbar Adjustment
Press the round control to adjust the lumbar support.
D. MassageF
Press the control button to turn the
massage feature on/off. It will turn off after10 minutes.
Memory Seat
With the driver’s seat, power steering columnF and power outside mirrors in the desired position, press and release the SET button. A beep will sound. Immediately press and hold button 1 until two beeps sound. Repeat the steps using button 2 for a second driver and the Exit button to set the exit position.
To recall the setting, press and hold button 1 or 2 or the Exit button until the stored position is reached.
To set the Auto Memory Recall or Easy Exit options, go to Settings > Vehicle > Comfort and Convenience.

FOLDING REAR SEATBACKS
1. Press the button at the base of the head restraint post to lower the head restraint.
2. Insert the door key from the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter in the mini-buckle slot to
disconnect the mini-latch of the center seat belt.
3. Pull the release handle in the trunk to release the seatback.
4. Fold the seatback forward.

SUNROOFF
The sunroof and sunshade controls are located on the overhead console.
Press the Front Sunshade switch to open or close the front sunshade.
Press the Rear Sunshade switch to open or close the rear window sunshade.
Press the Sunroof Open switch to express-open the sunroof. Press the Sunroof Close switch to express-close the sunroof.

AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROLS

Automatic Operation
1. Press AUTO.
2. Set the temperature.
The system automatically controls the fan speed, air delivery, air conditioning and recirculation to reach the set temperature. Allow time for the system to reach the desired temperature. If a function is adjusted manually, automatic operation for that function is canceled.
SYNC Temperature Settings
Press CLIMATE to display the touch screen controls. Touch SYNC to link all passenger
settings to the driver settings.
