Windows
The power windowswitches are locatedon the driver door.In addition, eachpassenger doorhas a switch forits own window.
Press the switch to lower the window. Pull the switch upto raise it.

Seat Adjustment
Front Seats
Power Seats
The power seat controls are located on the outboardside of the front seats.
Move the seat forward or rearward by sliding the controlforward or rearward.
Raise or lower the front or rear part of the cushion bymoving the front or rear part of the control up or down.

Heated Seats
Front Seats
On vehicles with heatedand cooled front seats,the controls are locatedon the climate controlpanel.
{(Cooled Seat):Press to cool the entire seat.
+(Heated Seatback):Press to heat theseatback only.
z(Heated Seat and Seatback):Press to heat the seatand seatback.
Continue to press the desired button to cycle throughthe temperature settings: high (three indicator lights),medium (two indicator lights), low (one indicator light),and off (no lights).

Rear Seats
The heated rear seatcontrols are locatedon the Rear SearAudio (RSA) panel.
M(Heated Seat):Press to heat the seat cushion and tocycle through the three temperature settings.

Head Restraint Adjustment
Do not drive until the head restraints for alloccupants are installed and adjusted properly.

Rear Window Defogger
The rear window defogger uses a warming grid toremove fog from the rear window.
<(Rear Window Defogger):Press to turn the rearwindow defogger on or off. It automatically turns offafter it has been activated. The defogger can also beturned off by turning off the engine. Do not drive thevehicle until all the windows are clear.
Notice:Do not use a razor blade or sharp object toclear the inside rear window. Do not adhereanything to the defogger grid lines in the rear glass.These actions may damage the rear defogger.Repairs would not be covered by your warranty.
Heated Mirrors :For vehicles with heated outsiderearview mirrors, the mirrors heat to help clear fog orfrost from the surface of the mirror when the rearwindow defog button is pressed. SeeOutside HeatedMirrors on page 3!45.
Heated or Cooled Seats :For vehicles with heated andcooled seats, seeHeated and Cooled Seatsonp a g e 2!5.
Outlet Adjustment
Use the air outlets located in the center and on the sideof the instrument panel to direct the airflow.
Operation Tips
.Keep the hood and front air inlets free of ice, snow,or any other obstruction (such as leaves). Theheater and defroster will work far better, reducingthe chance of fogging the inside of the windows.
.When you enter a vehicle in cold weather, pressthe fan up button to the maximum fan level beforedriving. This helps clear the intake ducts of snowand moisture, and reduces the chance of foggingthe inside of the window.
.Keep the air path under the front seats clear ofobjects. This helps air to circulate throughout thevehicle.
.Adding outside equipment to the front of thevehicle, such as hood-air deflectors, may affect theperformance of the heating and air conditioningsystem. Check with your dealer/retailer beforeadding equipment to the outside of the vehicle.

Some DVDs do not allow fast forwarding or skipping ofthe copyright information or previews. If the DVD doesnot begin playing at the main title, refer to the on-screeninstructions.
The DVD player can be controlled by using the buttonslocated below the video display screen or by using thebuttons on the system’s remote control. See“RemoteControl”later for more information.
The following discs are compatible with the DVD player:
.DVD-Video: A DVD that has video.
.CD-DA: A CD that has music or soundcontent only.
.CD-Video: A CD that has a movie.
.CD-R/RW: A disc that has audio files such asCD-R with downloaded MP3 files, MPEG, orJPEG files.
The DVD player and discs are coded by global region.The DVD players are set to Region 1. Discs with otherregion codes will not work in the players.
If an error message displays on the video screen, see“DVD Messages”later in this section.
While the vehicle is moving, passengers should notunfasten their safety belts to make adjustments to thevideo screen control buttons. See“Safety Belts”under,Seats and Restraint Systems in the vehicle’s ownermanual. Use the remote control for any necessaryadjustments. See“Remote Control”later in thissupplement.
POWERO:Press to turn the power on or off. Each
video screen can be powered on or off independently.
EJECTX:Press to eject a disc from the DVD slot.
If a disc is ejected from the player, but not removed, itwill automatically reload into the player. Another way toreload a disc that has been ejected, but not removedfrom the DVD player, is to press the eject button or theplay button.
PLAYr:Press this button located below the video
display screen to start playback of a disc. On DVDs andvideo CDs with playback control (PBC), menu screenscan display automatically. It might be necessary topress the play button again to begin play.
There is a play position memory feature for DVD andvideo CD only. If the DVD player is turned off and thenturned back on, the DVD player resumes playbackwhere the disc stopped. The play position memory iserased if the disc is removed.

Headlamp Aiming
The vehicle has a visual optical headlamp aimingsystem. The aim of the headlamps have been preset atthe factory and should need no further adjustment.
However, if the vehicle is damaged in a crash, the aimof the headlamps may be affected and adjustment maybe necessary.
If oncoming vehicles flash their high beams at you, thismay mean the vertical aim of your headlamps needs tobe adjusted.
It is recommended that the vehicle is taken to yourdealer/retailer for service if the headlamps need to beadjusted. It is possible however, to re-aim theheadlamps as described.
The vehicle should:
.Be placed so the headlamps are 25 ft. (7.6 m) froma light colored wall or other flat surface.
.Have all four tires on a level surface which is levelall the way to the wall or other flat surface.
.Be placed so it is perpendicular to the wall or otherflat surface.
.Not have any snow, ice, or mud on it.
.Be fully assembled and all other work stoppedwhile headlamp aiming is being performed.
.Be normally loaded with a full tank of fuel and oneperson or 160 lbs (75 kg) sitting on the driver seat.
.Have the tires properly inflated.
.Have the spare tire is in its proper location in thevehicle.
Headlamp aiming is done with the vehicle's low-beamheadlamps. The high-beam headlamps will be correctlyaimed if the low-beam headlamps are aimed properly.
To adjust the vertical aim:
1. Open the hood. SeeHood Releaseon page 7!15for more information.
2. Locate the center ofthe projector lens ofthe low!beamheadlamp.
3. Record the distance from the ground to the centerof the projector lens of the low!beam headlamp.
