Mirror Adjustment

If equipped, adjust the manualmirror by moving it up and down orleft to right to see a little of the sideof the vehicle and to have a clearview behind the vehicle.

1. Move the selector switch to L(Left) or R (Right) to choosedriver or passenger mirror.
2. Press the arrows on the controlpad to move each mirror in thedesired direction.

Interior Mirror
Adjustment
Adjust the mirror for a clear view ofthe area behind the vehicle.
Manual Dimming Rearview Mirror
If equipped, push the tab forward fordaytime use and pull it rearward fornighttime use to avoid the glare ofheadlamps from behind.
Automatic Dimming RearviewMirror
If equipped, the rearview mirrordims automatically to reduce theglare of the headlamps from behind.The dimming feature comes onwhen the vehicle is started.
Steering Wheel
Adjustment
To a d j u s t t h e s t e e r i n g w h e e l :
1. Pull the lever down.
2. Move the steering wheel upor down.
3. Pull the lever up to lock thesteering wheel in place.
Tilt and Telescoping SteeringWheel
To a d j u s t t h e t i l t a n d t e l e s c o p i n gsteering wheel, if equipped:
1. Pull the lever down.
2. Move the steering wheel upor down.
3. Pull or push the steering wheelcloser or away from you.
4. Pull the lever up to lock thesteering wheel in place.
Do not adjust the steering wheelwhile driving.

Interior Lighting
Dome Lamps
The interior lamps control in theoverhead console controls both thefront and rear interior lamps.
(:Turns the lamps off.
H:Turns the lamps on when anydoor is opened.
':Keeps the lamps on allthe time.
Reading Lamps (If Equipped)
The front reading lamps are in theoverhead console.
The rear reading lamps are in theheadliner.

Exterior Lighting
The exterior lamp control is on theinstrument panel to the left of thesteering wheel.
O:Turns off the automaticheadlamps and Daytime RunningLamps (DRL). Turn the headlampcontrol to the off position again toturn the automatic headlamps orDRL back on.
For vehicles first sold in Canada, offwill only work when the vehicle is inP(Park).
AUTO :Automatically turns on theheadlamps at normal brightness,together with the following:

Windshield Wiper/Washer
The windshield wiper/washer leveris on the right side of the steeringcolumn. With the ignition in ACC/ACCESSORY or ON/RUN, movethe windshield wiper lever to selectthe wiper speed.
HI :Use for fast wipes.
LO :Use for slow wipes.
INT :Move the lever up to INT for
intermittent wipes, then turn thex
INT band up for more frequentwipes or down for less frequentwipes.
OFF :Use to turn the wipers off.
1X :For a single wipe, briefly movethe wiper lever down. For severalwipes, hold the wiper lever down.
nL:Pull the windshield wiperlever toward you to spray windshieldwasher fluid and activate the wipers.

Range Selection Mode

Four-Wheel Drive
If the vehicle has four-wheel drive,the engine's driving power can besent to all four wheels for extratraction.

Automatic Transfer Case
The transfer case knob is to the leftof the steering column. Use it toshift into and out of the differentfour-wheel drive modes.
The different drive options that maybe available are described following.
2m(Two-Wheel Drive High) :This
setting is used for driving in moststreet and highway situations.
AUTO (Automatic Four-WheelDrive) :This setting is ideal for usewhen road surface tractionconditions are variable.
4m(Four-Wheel Drive High) :Use
this setting when extra traction isneeded, such as on snowy or icyroads or in most off-road situations.

4n(Four-Wheel Drive Low) :
