Explicit Content Filter
When on, only a filtered list ofchannels will be received. When off,all regular SXM programmingsubscribed to will be received.

Radio Reception
Frequency interference and staticcan occur during normal radioreception if items such as cell phonechargers, vehicle convenienceaccessories, and external electronicdevices are plugged into theaccessory power outlet. If there isinterference or static, unplug theitem from the accessory poweroutlet.
FM
FM signals only reach about 16 to65 km (10 to 40 mi). Although theradio has a built-in electronic circuitthat automatically works to reduceinterference, some static can occur,especially around tall buildings orhills, causing the sound to fade inand out.

AM
The range for most AM stations isgreater than for FM, especially atnight. The longer range can causestation frequencies to interfere witheach other. Static can occur whenthings like storms and power linesinterfere with radio reception. Whenthis happens, try reducing the trebleon the radio.
SiriusXM Satellite Radio
Service
If equipped, SiriusXM SatelliteRadio Service provides digital radioreception. Tall buildings or hills caninterfere with satellite radio signals,causing the sound to fade in andout. In addition, traveling or standingunder heavy foliage, bridges,garages, or tunnels may cause lossof the SiriusXM signal for a periodof time.
Cell Phone Usage
Cell phone usage, such as makingor receiving phone calls, charging,or just having the phone on may
cause static interference with theradio. Unplug the phone or turn it offif this happens.
Multi-Band Antenna
The multi-band antenna is on theroof of the vehicle. The antenna isused for OnStar, the SiriusXMSatellite Radio Service System, andGPS (Global Positioning System),if the vehicle has these features.Keep the antenna clear ofobstructions for clear reception.
Items on the roof of the vehicle caninterfere with the performance of theradio system and OnStar (ifequipped). Make sure themulti-band antenna is notobstructed.
Pandora Internet Radio
If equipped, Pandora®is a freeInternet radio service that streamspersonalized radio stations basedon artists, tracks, genres, andcomedians. Create stations usingthe Pandora website or Smartphone
application, then use-or,to
personalize stations. To set up an
account, or for more information, goto www.pandora.com. Pandora maynot be available in Canada orMexico.
AphoneortabletwithInternetconnection and the Pandoraapplication installed is required.Personal cell phone data plans areused. Make sure the latest versionis installed on the device.
Launching Pandora
Connect an iPhone to the USB port,or connect Android®or BlackBerry®
through Bluetooth. Using an iPhone
1. Plug the device into the USBport. The phone screen mustbe unlocked.

Pandora service has features to ratetracks, skip tracks, or changestations.
}:When selected during a track, achoice displays to bookmark theartist or track. This sends thebookmark to the Pandora account.
,:When selected, Pandora storesthis information, changes to the nexttrack, and does not play this trackon this station again. This helpsPandora choose which tracksshould not play on this station. Thisfeature is only available on usercreated stations.
-:When selected, Pandora stores

highlighted for the remainder of thetrack. This helps Pandora choosewhich tracks should play on thisstation.

Pandora Skip Limit
Pandora limits the number of skipsallowed on their service. When the
skip limit is reached,,or the next

Pandora may displayadvertisements. The artist nameand track title will not be displayedand the skip track button will not beavailable.
Pandora Troubleshooting
Unable to Connect Device toVehicle
If the device is unable to connect tothe USB or Bluetooth:
1. Turn the vehicle off.
2. Take the Remote Keyless Entry(RKE) transmitter at least 6 m(20 ft) away from the vehicle.

Unable to Start Pandora
If the device is unable to launchPandora:
.Check that the latest version ofPandora is installed.
.Check that there is an activeaccount logged into Pandora.
.Have at least one stationcreated.
.For Android and BlackBerrydevices, check that the device ispaired with the vehicle, andwhether the device displays inthe Connected phone sourceslist under the Phone icon fromthe Home Page.
.For an iPhone, check that theUSB cable is connected to theUSB port and the screen isunlocked.
.Close Pandora on the deviceand launch again. Devices thatallow multitasking may requirean extra step to quit the Pandoraapplication. See the cell phonemanufacturer's user guide.
Thumbs Up or Thumbs DownError
If there is an error trying to rate a
track with,or-,themessage
“Thumbs Down Error”or“ThumbsUp Error”will display. Touch OK todismiss.
Loss of Audio
Loss of Pandora audio can happenin different ways:
.Weak or lost data connection.
.Device needs to be charged.
.Application needs to berelaunched.
.Connection between phone andradio lost.
.An iPhone is connected to bothBluetooth and the USB port.
Playback can be resumed fromalossofaudiobydoubletapping the iPhone home buttonthen scrolling through the iconsto find an icon that allows achange of flow betweenBluetooth and USB cable.

Audio System Information
The infotainment system can playthe music files contained in the USBstorage device or iPod/iPhoneproducts.
Using MP3/WMA/OGG/WAV Files
.Music files with .mp3, .wma,.ogg, and .wav file nameextensions can be played.
.MP3 files that can be played: Bitrate: 8 kbps to 320 kbps.Sampling frequency: 48 kHz,44.1 kHz, 32 kHz, 24 kHz, 22.05kHz, and 16 kHz.
.Files with a bit rate above128 kbps will result in higherquality sound.
.ID3 Tag information for MP3files, such as the album nameand the artist, can be played.
.To d i s p l a y a l b u m t i t l e , t r a c k t i t l e ,and artist information, the fileshould be compatible with theID3 Tag V1 and V2 formats.
Using a USB Storage Device oriPod/iPhone
.Use a USB or flash memory typestorage device. Do not connectusing a USB adaptor.
.Do not connect and reconnectthe USB device repeatedly in ashort time, as this may causestatic electricity and problemsusing the device.
.Use a USB device with a metalconnecting terminal.
.Connection with i-Stick TypeUSB storage devices may befaulty due to vehicle vibration.
.Do not touch the USBconnecting terminal.
.Only USB storage devicesformatted in FAT16/32 or exFATfile systems are recognized.NTFS and other file systems arenot recognized.
.The time it takes to process fileswill depend on the USB storagedevice type and capacity, andthe type of files stored.
.Some USB storage device filesmay not be compatible.
.Up to two USB devices and oneiPod can be played through aUSB hub. All devices may not besupported, depending on theperformance of the USB hub.If there is not enough powersupply, it may not operatenormally.
