S e a r c h i n g f o r a s t a t i o n o c c u r s fi r s t i n
"LO" sensitivity (selection of the most
powerful transmitters) during scan-
ning of the waveband, then in "DX"
sensitivity (selection of the weakest
and most distant transmitters).
To make a direct search in "DX" sen-
sitivity, press button L or N twice. Manual station search
Press the
"MAN" button.

By continuing to press the button in

Manual storing of stations in the
memory
Select the station required.
Press one of the buttons "1" to "6"
for more than two seconds.
The sound stops then becomes audi-
b l e a g a i n , c o n fi r m i n g t h a t t h e s t a t i o n
has been stored in the memory.

R for more than two

Your radio automatically stores the
6 stations with the strongest signal
in FM . These stations are stored in
the FMast waveband.
I f i t i s n o t p o s s i b l e t o fi n d 6 s t a t i o n s ,
the remaining memories are empty.
Recalling stations stored in the
memory

buttons "1" to "6" to recall the cor-
responding station.

speed
Pressing the accelerator pedal in or-
der to exceed the programmed speed
will have no effect unless you press
the pedal fi r m l y beyond the p o i n t o f
resistance .
The limiter is deactivated temporarily
and the programmed speed which is
s t i l l d i s p l a y e d fl a s h e s .
F l a s h i n g o f t h e s p e e d
T h e s p e e d fl a s h e s :
- following forcing of the accelera- tor point of resistance,
- when the limiter cannot prevent an increase in the vehicle speed
d u e t o t h e p r o fi l e o f t h e r o a d o r o n
a steep descent,
- in the event of sharp acceleration. In any event, the speed lim-
iter cannot replace the need
to observe speed limits, nor
can it replace the need for
vigilance and responsibility
on the part of the driver.
The driver must always pay attention
t o t h e p r o fi l e o f t h e r o a d , t a k e c a r e
on sharp acceleration and remain in
perfect control of his vehicle.
To prevent the mat from becoming
trapped under the pedals:
- e n s u r e t h a t t h e m a t a n d i t s fi x i n g s are positioned correctly,
-
n e v e r fi t o n e m a t o n t o p o f a n o t h e r .
S w i t c h i n g t h e f u n c t i o n o f f
Place dial in position 0 or switch
off the ignition to switch the sys-
tem off. The last programmed
speed remains in the memory.
O p e r a t i n g f a u l t
In the event of a limiter malfunction,
a message is displayed on the multi-
function display accompanied by an
audible signal.
The programmed speed is cleared and
t h e d a s h e s fl a s h f o r a f e w s e c o n d s .
Contact a CITROËN dealer to have
the system checked.
To return to the limiter function, re-
duce your speed to the programmed
speed or below.

grammed reference speed
by means of a maintained
press, pay attention as the
speed can increase or de-
crease rapidly.
Do not use the cruise control on slip-
p e r y r o a d s o r i n h e a v y t r a f fi c .
In the event of a steep slope, the
cruise control cannot prevent the
vehicle from exceeding the pro-
grammed speed.
In any event, the cruise control can-
not replace the need to observe the
speed limits, nor can it replace the
need for vigilance and responsibility
on the part of the driver.
It is advisable to leave your feet near
the pedals.
To prevent the mat from becoming
trapped under the pedals:
- e n s u r e t h a t t h e m a t a n d i t s fi x i n g s are positioned correctly,

Reactivation
Following deactivation of the
cruise control, press this button.
Your vehicle will return to the last
programmed speed.

s e n g e r a i r b a g w h e n y o u i n s t a l l a
r e a r - f a c i n g c h i l d s e a t o n t h e f r o n t
p a s s e n g e r s e a t . O t h e r w i s e , t h e
c h i l d w o u l d r i s k b e i n g k i l l e d o r s e -
r i o u s l y i n j u r e d i f t h e a i r b a g w e r e
t o i n fl a t e .
W i t h t h e i g n i t i o n s w i t c h e d o f f ,
insert the key into the passenger
air bag disarming switch 1 , turn
it to the "OFF" position, then re-
move the key keeping the slot in
this position. The air bag warning light on
the instrument panel is lit
throughout the period of dis-
arming.
In the "OFF" position, the passen-
ger air bag will not be triggered in the
event of an impact.
As soon as the child seat is removed,
turn the air bag slot to the "ON" po-
sition to re-activate the air bag and
thus ensure the safety of your pas-
senger in the event of an impact.
T h i s i s c o n fi r m e d b y a n i n d i -
cator light, accompanied by
a message on the display.
With the ignition on (2nd
notch), illumination of this warning
light indicates that the passenger air
bag is disarmed (switch in the "OFF"
position).
If the two air bag warning
lights are lit continuously, do
not install a rear-facing child
seat. Consult a CITROËN
dealer.
