S e a r c h i n g f o r a s t a t i o n o c c u r s fi r s t i n
"LO" sensitivity (selection of the most
powerful transmitters) during scan-
ning of the waveband, then in "DX"
sensitivity (selection of the weakest
and most distant transmitters).
To make a direct search in "DX" sen-
sitivity, press button L or N twice. Manual station search
Press the
"MAN" button.

or decrease the frequency displayed.
By continuing to press the button in
the direction selected, you will obtain
continuous scrolling of the frequency.

Pressing the "MAN" button again re-
turns you to automatic station search.
Manual storing of stations in the
memory
Select the station required.
Press one of the buttons "1" to "6"
for more than two seconds.
The sound stops then becomes audi-
b l e a g a i n , c o n fi r m i n g t h a t t h e s t a t i o n
has been stored in the memory.

in the memory (autostore)
Press and hold button
R for more than two
seconds.
Your radio automatically stores the
6 stations with the strongest signal in
FM . These stations are stored in the
FMast waveband.
I f i t i s n o t p o s s i b l e t o fi n d 6 s t a t i o n s ,
the remaining memories are empty.

This connects stations which are
part of the same network. It enables
t h e b r o a d c a s t o f t r a f fi c i n f o r m a t i o n ,
by a station that is part of the same
network as the station to which you
are listening.
This service is available when you
have selected the TA t r a f fi c i n f o r m a -
tion programme or the PTY function.
PTY function
This allows you to listen to stations broad-
c a s t i n g a s p e c i fi c t y p e o f p r o g r a m m e
(news, culture, sport, rock, etc.).
To search for a
PTY programme:
With FM selected,
press the "TA" but-
ton for more than two
seconds to switch this
function on or off. - select the
PTY function,
- b r i e fl y p r e s s b u t t o n L or N to
scroll down the list of the various
types of programmes offered,
- when the programme of your choice is displayed, keep button
L or N pressed for more than two
seconds to carry out an automatic
search (after an automatic search
the PTY function is switched off).
In PTY mode the different types of
programmes can be stored in the
memory. To do this, press the prese-
lection buttons "1" to "6" for more
t h a n t w o s e c o n d s . B r i e fl y p r e s s t h e
corresponding button to recall the
type of programme stored in the
memory.

To install it:
- position the front ends of the load space cover on its support and press gently to put it in place,
- unfold the load space cover fully,
- position the rear ends of the load space cover on its support and press gently to put it in place.
To remove it:
- unclip the rear ends,
- fold the load space cover fully,
- unclip the front ends and remove the load space cover.
To store it, fold it like an accordion. Do not roll it . 3. Stowing rings

T h e h i g h l o a d r e t a i n i n g n e t c a n b e fi t t e d behind the front or rear seats.
Open the covers A of the correspond-ing upper fastenings.
Fit the ends of the metal bar in these fastenings.
Secure the two net strap hooks be-hind the front seats, with the rear seat folded, or in the stowing rings B o n t h e fl o o r .
The rings are located directly below the corresponding upper fastenings.
Pull the two straps C taut.

speed
Pressing the accelerator pedal in or-
der to exceed the programmed speed
will have no effect unless you press
the pedal fi r m l y beyond the p o i n t o f
resistance .
The limiter is deactivated temporarily
and the programmed speed which is
s t i l l d i s p l a y e d fl a s h e s .
F l a s h i n g o f t h e s p e e d
T h e s p e e d fl a s h e s :
- following forcing of the accelerator point of resistance,
- when the limiter cannot prevent an increase in the vehicle speed
d u e t o t h e p r o fi l e o f t h e r o a d o r o n
a steep descent,
- in the event of sharp acceleration. In any event, the speed limiter
cannot replace the need to
observe speed limits, nor
can it replace the need for
vigilance and responsibility
on the part of the driver.
The driver must always pay attention
t o t h e p r o fi l e o f t h e r o a d , t a k e c a r e
on sharp acceleration and remain in
perfect control of his vehicle.
To prevent the mat from becoming
trapped under the pedals:
- e n s u r e t h a t t h e m a t a n d i t s fi x i n g s are positioned correctly,
- n e v e r fi t o n e m a t o n t o p o f a n o t h e r .
S w i t c h i n g t h e f u n c t i o n o f f
Place dial in position 0 or switch
off the ignition to switch the sys-
tem off. The last programmed
speed remains in the memory.
O p e r a t i n g f a u l t
In the event of a limiter malfunction,
a message is displayed on the multi-
function display accompanied by an
audible signal.
The programmed speed is cleared and
t h e d a s h e s fl a s h f o r a f e w s e c o n d s .
Contact a CITROËN dealer to have
the system checked.
To return to the limiter function, re-
duce your speed to the programmed
speed or below.

When changing the pro-
grammed reference speed
by means of a maintained
press, pay attention as the
speed can increase or de-
crease rapidly.
Do not use the cruise control on slip-
p e r y r o a d s o r i n h e a v y t r a f fi c .
In the event of a steep slope, the
cruise control cannot prevent the
vehicle from exceeding the pro-
grammed speed.
In any event, the cruise control can-
not replace the need to observe the
speed limits, nor can it replace the
need for vigilance and responsibility
on the part of the driver.
It is advisable to leave your feet near
the pedals.
To prevent the mat from becoming
trapped under the pedals:
- e n s u r e t h a t t h e m a t a n d i t s fi x i n g s are positioned correctly,
- n e v e r fi t o n e m a t o n t o p o f a n o t h e r .

press SET + button to increase it.

Reactivation
Following deactivation of the
cruise control, press this button.
Your vehicle will return to the last
programmed speed.
