The electric window switches can
b e c o n fi g u r e d v i a t h e c o l o u r s c r e e n
"Equipment" menu.
The electric window switches re-
main operational for approximate-
ly 30 seconds after the ignition is
switched off and the switch on the
driver's door remains operational for
a further 30 seconds when the door
is opened.
The windows can no longer be
opened or closed after the driver's
door is closed.
The rear windows do not lower fully.
ELECTRIC WINDOWS
1. Driver's electric window switch.
2.
Passenger's electric window switch.
3. Rear right electric window switch.
4. Rear left electric window switch.
5. Deactivating
the passenger and
rear electric window switches. In the event of unwanted opening of
the window on closing (for example
in the presence of frost), reinitialise
the electric windows (refer to the cor-
responding paragraph).
Safety anti-pinch
In automatic mode, when the window
rises and meets an obstacle, it stops
and lowers again.
Operation
With the ignition on, you have two options:
-
manual mode
Press the switch gently to open or
pull it gently to close. The window
stops as soon as the switch is re-
leased.
- automatic mode
Press the switch fully to open or
pull it fully to close. The window
opens or closes completely when
the switch is released.
Pressing the switch again stops
the movement of the window.
System which opens or closes a win-
dow manually or automatically. It is
fi t t e d w i t h a s y s t e m w h i c h p r o v i d e s
protection if an obstacle is detected on
one-touch models and a deactivation
system to prevent misuse of the rear
controls.

Deactivating the passenger and rear
electric window switches Reinitialising the electric windows
Following reconnection of the battery or
after the safety anti-pinch has been trig-
gered three times in succession, you
must reinitialise the safety anti-pinch
function:
with the door closed, lower the window
completely then raise it again, it will rise
in steps of a few centimetres each time
the switch is pressed, repeat the op-
eration until the window is fully closed,
continue to press the switch for at least
one second after reaching the window
closed position.
Always remove the key from the
ignition when leaving the vehi-
cle, even for a short time.
In the event of contact during opera-
tion of the windows, you must reverse
the movement of the window. To do
this, press the switch concerned.
When the driver operates the pas-
senger electric window switches,
they must ensure that no one is pre-
venting correct closing of the win-
dows.
The driver must ensure that passen-
gers use the electric windows cor-
rectly.
Be aware of children when operating
the windows.
For the safety of your children, press
switch 5 to prevent operation of the
passenger and rear electric windows
irrespective of their position.
When the button is pressed down, the
switches are deactivated.
When the button is raised, the switches
are activated.
When the button is pressed down, you
can open or close all of the windows
using the switches on the driver's
door.
The safety
anti
-
pinch
function is not
active during these operations.

SUNROOF Complete closing
With the ignition on, push the con-
trol forwards (in the direction 2 ).
T h e d e fl e c t o r f o l d s d o w n g r a d u a l l y o n
closing.
Complete opening
With the ignition on, push the control
rearwards (in the direction 1 ).
A d e fl e c t o r i s d e p l o y e d g r a d u a l l y o n
opening to prevent unwanted gusts of
air. Temporary stop
To stop opening or closing, press
part 3 of the control or push the con-
trol in the opposite direction.
Partial opening
To open , with the ignition on, press
part 3 of the control.
The rear part of the sunroof opens.
To close , with the ignition on, press
part 3 of the control.
The rear part of the sunroof closes. Safety anti-pinch and reinitialisation
If the roof meets an obstacle while it is
closing, it stops and opens again.
The sunroof stops automatically just
before complete opening. Push the
control again for complete opening.
Operation
In the event of unwanted opening of
the roof on closing (for example, in
the presence of ice) and immediately
after the roof has stopped, or after
the safety anti-pinch has been trig-
g e r e d fi v e t i m e s i n s u c c e s s i o n :
press part 3 of the control several
times to partially open the roof,
when the roof partially opens,
continue to press for more than
3 seconds ,
open and close the sunroof com-
pletely.
The

BLIND
The blind is manual, slide it backwards
and forwards.
It opens automatically when the roof is
opened. Check that the sunroof is not
open in tilt mode before clos-
ing the blind.
The blind cannot be closed when the
sunroof is open in sliding mode .
Always remove the key from the
ignition when leaving the vehi-
cle, even for a short time.
If the roof meets an obstacle dur-
ing operation, you must reverse the
movement of the roof. To do this,
press the control concerned.
When the driver operates the roof

Front and rear foglamps

The foglamps operate with the dipped
a n d m a i n b e a m h e a d l a m p s . front and rear foglamps
To switch on the front foglamps,
turn the push ring C forwards one
n o t c h .
To switch on the rear foglamps, turn
the push ring C f o r w a r d s t w o n o t c h e s .
To switch off the front foglamps,
turn the push ring C rearwards one
n o t c h .
To switch off the rear foglamps,
turn the push ring C rearwards two
n o t c h e s .
The ring C returns to its initial position
a u t o m a t i c a l l y .
T h e f r o n t f o g l a m p s a r e s w i t c h e d o n a u -
t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n y o u s w i t c h o n t h e r e a r
f o g l a m p s .
The rear foglamps are switched off
a u t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n y o u s w i t c h o f f t h e
d i p p e d / m a i n b e a m h e a d l a m p s o r t h e
f r o n t f o g l a m p s .
O n v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h d a y t i m e r u n -
n i n g l a m p s , t h e r e a r f o g l a m p s c a n b e
switched on even if the lighting stalk is
i n t h e " O F F " p o s i t i o n . I n g o o d o r r a i n y w e a t h e r ,
b o t h d a y a n d n i g h t , t h e f r o n t
foglamps and the rear foglamps
a r e p r o h i b i t e d . I n t h e s e s i t u a t i o n s ,
t h e p o w e r o f t h e i r b e a m s m a y d a z z l e
o t h e r d r i v e r s .
Do not forget to switch off the front
foglamps and the rear foglamps
w h e n t h e y a r e n o l o n g e r n e c e s s a r y .
Lighting on reminder
A n a u d i b l e s i g n a l w h e n t h e d r i v e r ’ s
door is opened warns the driver if the
vehicle lighting is on, with the ignition
o f f .
Switching off the lighting stops the
a u d i b l e s i g n a l .
If condensation is present, switch the
headlamps on for a few minutes in
o r d e r t o c l e a r i t .

Automatic switching off

This warning lamp comes on

c o n d i t i o n i n g c o n t r o l p a n e l , . . . ) a r e i l l u -
m i n a t e d . T h e s i d e l a m p s a n d t h e d i p p e d b e a m
h e a d l a m p s c o m e o n a u t o m a t i c a l l y , w i t h -
o u t a n y a c t i o n o n t h e p a r t o f t h e d r i v e r ,
if a low level of exterior light is detected
o r i f t h e w i p e r s a r e s w i t c h e d o n .
W h e n t h e l i g h t r e t u r n s t o a s u f fi c i e n t
level or the wipers are switched off, the
l i g h t i n g i s s w i t c h e d o f f a u t o m a t i c a l l y .
T h e s e n s o r i s l o c a t e d a t t h e b a s e o f t h e
w i n d s c r e e n .

When the door or the tailgate is closed

H o w e v e r , t h e c o u r t e s y l a m p i s s w i t c h e d
o f f a u t o m a t i c a l l y i n t h e f o l l o w i n g c a s e s :

are closed and the ignition switch is
placed in the "ON" p o s i t i o n .

Front seat belts
T h e f r o n t s e a t b e l t s a r e fi t t e d w i t h a p r e -

T h i s s y s t e m i m p r o v e s s a f e t y i n t h e f r o n t
s e a t s i n t h e e v e n t o f a f r o n t o r s i d e i m -
p a c t . D e p e n d i n g o n t h e s e v e r i t y o f t h e
i m p a c t , t h e p r e t e n s i o n i n g s y s t e m i n -
s t a n t l y t i g h t e n s t h e s e a t b e l t s a g a i n s t

The pretensioning seat belts are active
when the ignition is on.
T h e f o r c e l i m i t e r r e d u c e s t h e p r e s s u r e
of the seat belt on the chest of the oc-
c u p a n t , s o i m p r o v i n g t h e i r p r o t e c t i o n .
