Activate/deactivate the automatic adjustment.

Select the time zone.
3. S u m m e r T i m e :
Activate/deactivate summer time.
Press button D t o c o n fi r m a n d r e t u r n
to the previous menu.
Press button C to access the "Time"
menu . It is essential to deactivate the
automatic adjustment (RDS Auto
Correction) in order to be able to
change the time zone and summer
time.
On each screen, you can return to
the previous screen by pressing but-
ton
D "Return" .
Once this menu has been selected, you
can access the following functions:

LIGHTING RHEOSTAT
With the lights on or off, press the button
to change the intensity of the lighting of
the instruments and controls in "day" or
"night" mode.
When the lighting reaches the maxi-
mum setting, press again to change to
the minimum setting.
W h e n t h e l i g h t i n g r e a c h e s t h e r e q u i r e d
intensity, release the button.
The setting is saved when the ignition
switch is turned to OFF. An audible signal is heard and the
intensity of the lighting increases
each time the button is pressed.

located at the bottom of the windscreen,
the vents, the air outlets under the front
seats and the air extractor located be-

Advice on operation
In hot weather, in order to obtain in-
tense ventilation, it is advisable to
use vents 1 and 4 o n l y .
I f , w h e n t h e v e h i c l e h a s b e e n p a r k e d
in the sun for a long time, the interior
t e m p e r a t u r e r e m a i n s v e r y h i g h , d o
n o t h e s i t a t e t o v e n t i l a t e t h e p a s s e n -
g e r c o m p a r t m e n t f o r a f e w m i n u t e s . Switch off the air conditioning
when the climatic conditions
p e r m i t .

Automatic operation
S e t t h e t e m p e r a t u r e c o n t r o l d i a l 1 to
t h e t e m p e r a t u r e r e q u i r e d .
P l a c e t h e a i r fl o w c o n t r o l d i a l 2 in
the "AUTO" p o s i t i o n .
Place the air distribution adjustment
dial 3 in the "AUTO" p o s i t i o n . When the engine is cold, to avoid an
excessive distribution of cold air, the
v e n t i l a t i o n w i l l r e a c h i t s o p t i m u m l e v e l
g r a d u a l l y .
On entering the vehicle, the interior
t e m p e r a t u r e m a y b e m u c h c o l d e r ( o r
w a r m e r ) t h a n t h e c o m f o r t t e m p e r a -
t u r e . T h e r e i s n o n e e d t o c h a n g e t h e
t e m p e r a t u r e d i s p l a y e d i n o r d e r t o
r e a c h t h e c o m f o r t r e q u i r e d r a p i d l y .
